so much can happen in a week that any prediction a year out needs to be put in perspective. probably a third of the teams are no chance of winning, a third are little chance and the other third are a realistic chance. we're a realistic chance.

IMO the clean slate is important! Too many things piled up against us last year. Getting the chance to forget about all of them and move on is massive.

After what the team delivered last season with all of the adversity there's every reason to be optimistic.
I still think we are weak in areas such as dummy half, second row and in the three-quarters. Time will tell.Born and bred in the eastern suburbs.

We need to stiffen up our defence if we are going to press the likes of the panthers and the storm.
It's all well and good blaming injuries but since we did the repeat we have been beaten up the middle against those teams and souths.
Panthers despite losing a few personnel still have some of the most dominant players in the game in their positions and some of our boys have been butting heads with them for nearly a decade through the grades.
Let's just hope we can get a fair crack with injuries and we'll be giving it a shake.

I could understand the feelings souths and cronulla fans had when they finally won the comp, it's what makes it worthwhile as you can't always win at everything. Losing and learning to accept it is part of life.

Can we see your combined team as having only 5 Panthers in it compared to 13 Roosters seems a bit light on as after all Penrith did win the compLast edited by King Salvo; 01-07-2022, 03:31 PM.
