Speaking of Sam Burgess, what’s this in the paper about him?

Bullshit, the hit on Joey was late, high, reckless and bordering on intentional.

His actions afterwards were cowardly, disgraceful, and to this day without remorse for his own actions and the outcomes of it.

Burgess wasn't mentioned because the conversation was about Napa and whether or not he was ever a grub. It was also confined to Easts because some contributors here are critical of Dylan when the same standards are not applied to Mozza whom I, too, loved but he was often a liability it must be said.

Also Mickey was not defending 'Trell, he simply made the fair point that Napa's tackle was somewhat mistimed and had it been a bit lower - bottler! The same could be said of Trell's on Joey though I personally think that his was far more reckless and, pretty much, down to attitude issues.

When you can't make the grade at the Bulldogs, and you end up in France, there is no more NRL I'd reckon.

Napa was never really that amazing at the Chooks either.

He was always 4th or 5th choice prop really (behind JWH, Moa, Liu etc). I even preferred FPN off the bench instead of Napa, as at least FPN could bend the line.

Napa would hit the defensive line taking a hit up and deadset stop some of the time. Had awful go forward after impact for a man his size.

He was good for a series of big hits and for the intimidation factor in the middle of the park....got the opposition off their game thinking about when the big ranga was going to smash in. Thats about it.

Once the shoulder charges were rubbed out of the game Napa was next to useless.
