ask the fan of any other club who mitchell pearce played for ...the answer is unlikely to be the knights.
Of course he never wanted to leave and I agree we could have handheld it better however he had plenty of chances and our alternative ultimately assisted us in becoming one of the most successful clubs over the past few years. That’s something we would NOT have achieved if he hadn’t been shown the door.

I loved him as a Rooster however his departure showed us what we had been missing out on.

That was a ridiculous hit by Napa. Sad to see he has not gotten any smarter.

I've always said Pearce was in the wrong position. I don't know who kept pushing to keep him at halfback but it's apparently gone on to the Knights.

Put him in the centres or lock, like his father, and he would have excelled.

Would never have even played first grade had he played either of those positions.

Agree, maybe hooker but not centre or lock.

Jeez didn't we love Napalm when he emerged in first grade in front of Evans, the heir apparent? He was a one man wrecking ball but the rule change cancelled that part of his game. I don't know what Canterbury was thinking, he'd lost his ace card and he was never a forward leader apart from leading by example at times especially V Souths. He was also never a cheap shot merchant - what you saw coming at you was what you got - unlike Mozza who is revered by some here.
I don't see a lot in that Catalans hit though it did seem to be a statement.

Its not like he went out & charged forward to intentionally hit the bloke in the jaw, it was more a missed time shot, if he hits him 2 inches lower its a classic hit same as Latrell on Joey.

Interesting you mention Morley but you don't mention Sam Burgess.

I'm not surprised there are so many that have you on their ignore list.

Apologies to real Rooster supporters for quoting the obvious Souths troll.

"Do you expect me to talk"? "No, Mr. Bond, I expect you to die".

Bullshit, the hit on Joey was late, high, reckless and bordering on intentional.

His actions afterwards were cowardly, disgraceful, and to this day without remorse for his own actions and the outcomes of it.

It made my afternoon to see Lateral sitting on the sidelines pre game twiddling his thumbs really wanting to be playing trials especially next weeks Charity Shield.

Keep suffering the consequences you tool.

I thought he got the green light to play in the Chaz Shield, just not the all stars game.
