Question... why does Naiqama have a strong English accent? Assumed he'd have an Aussie accent.

He was in St Helens for over 3 years - not sure if folk pick up an accent or not when living abroad - if say you went to live in Germany for 3 or more years would you have an accent the same as a German when speaking in English?
