A bit of versatility with him as well. Use for play 6 in The Holden Cup.

Good signing. Don't think it has anything to do with Manu. I see it more as a replacement for the Moz twins, particularly Josh on the left side.
I see JS playing right wing/centre along side Manu for the next few seasons. My bet is that Momirovski will play inside Toops on the left, just like he did in that PF against Souffs in 2018.

The signing of Momirovski is entirely consistent with Trent's vision. He aims to recapture a "clever" team with with equal emphasis on both words. He's not after big names, he develops players into a system where the team becomes "a living thing" as he has described it in the past and we saw that in the back to backs. The Cronkster was the exception to the big rep approach and his leadership effect is still the missing piece imo, particularly with Boyd gone.
Paulie is widely spoken of as a serious committed player with skills to boot. Just the type Robbo favours and he's from the system.

Thats a good post. I am very pleased with this signing. Same as Watson. They should both add a lot to our squad.Originally posted by Paddo Colt 61 View PostThe signing of Momirovski is entirely consistent with Trent's vision. I've always liked him , he hasn't ever let anyone down and played in some star studded line ups, very good defensive back and has some ball skills.
I just wonder where this leaves us with Joey as the deadline closes in as you would have thought he would have re-signed by now if he was going to.

I think he played on the wing for us? I'm not overly excited by this signing, but does little wrong as far as I've seen. And you take what you can get and what fits with the cap, I suppose. Also kicks at 75%.Originally posted by Rooster_6 View PostI thought the obvious signing if we were going to sign an outside back would've been a winger. However I guess this means that Robinson will look to bring Suaali through on the wing as the Brett Morris replacement.
Given that I'm happy with Momorovski, I think he's a very solid player and puts all the pressure on Smith. If he's good enough he'll take Momorovski's spot and if he's not then we've got a solid, reliable first choice option.
Given the lack of quality in the centres across the NRL, Momorovski is a good pick up. When you're wanted by Melbourne, Penrith and the Roosters you're doing something right. Hopefully reaches another level back here.

I think that's a bit tough with his kicking abilities I would say a Toyota HiluxOriginally posted by Thirteen View PostIf he is Manu’s replacement then we are trading in the Ferrari for a 1970s Datsun.
Good depth signing. Experience from Melbourne and Penrith will be great. (He probably didn’t learn too much at Tigers).

But he wasn't even that great as a goal kicker. He nailed a couple from the sideline at different times and got the match winner against the Broncos, but SST actually has a better kicking percentageOriginally posted by Dr. Voodoo Man View PostI'm excited to have a proper goalkicker. Keighran is a good kicker but he ain't no centre.

When was the last time Momo kicked a goal? He wasn't even the backup for Cleary at Penrith... To suggest he is a 'proper' goalkicker is abit of a stretch just because he kicked in the juniors.
Very happy with the pickup though, he is a much improved player and will fit back into our system really nicely. Comes fairly cheap too!

He’s actually a 5/8 & has only played in the centre’s in FG. I don’t think he’s ever played on the wing. He played 5/8 in the Roosters U20’s that won the comp about 7 years ago. Ben Marschke’s brother was half back.Originally posted by ccfc bondi View Post

Sounds like a good backup for Keary. Hutch, he can give us a few cameos when we've got injuriesOriginally posted by Mickie Lane View Post

Clubs are allowed to talk to Joey officially from November 1, he would be mad not to see what clubs are willing to throw at him. What a position for him to be in, deserves as much as he can get.Originally posted by Johnny Brass View PostI've always liked him , he hasn't ever let anyone down and played in some star studded line ups, very good defensive back and has some ball skills.

I thought he was a bit more established than that. Does everyone think he will be our #1 goalkicker? Keighran and SST are never on the field all the time. Walker has no distance. I don't think he can even make the goalposts from the sidelines. If he can it is only barely.Originally posted by TeddyGoat View PostWhen was the last time Momo kicked a goal?
