I still love the game whoever is playing, it's just a better experience when it's the chooks and they win.

Commentators were banging on about how good todays game was...I thought it was error ridden and a very average game.of football. Just my opinion. I thought the Parra v Penrith game was much more enjoyable to watch

              For sure.

The dumb commentators considered it good cause it was close. As a spectacle it was a shit game. Full of errors by Melbourne and not much attack from either side. The defence was nowhere near as ferocious as Pen v Parr.

Yeah I agree it wasn't pretty but it was a good contest that went to the death.

Couldnt agree more. It was an extremely low quality game from the storm but riff’s defense was a highlight for me. It’s defense which wins gfs and I think they will easily beat the vermin.

Nothing in it , a tackle , bloke lifted slightly and dumped on his arse. Shouldn't have even been a penalty . I'm very happy to see the back of the storm . RIFF winning felt like a Roosters win in some ways, such is my disdain of the Mexicans. Hope they wipe the floor with the scum of the league next week .. Bring on next year and Go the ROOSTERS!!

Storm losing Welch and Smith to HIA's didn't help especially in a day game in humid conditions - Poor set completions too -33 from 49 - 69% - 43 missed tackles and 16 errors.

I wonder though with their point scoring record season and 19 game winning streak did this affect them in relation to having enough hard games to test their game - lost only 3 games ( round 2 , 3 and 23 ) . Storm had a big finals win first up as well compared to Penrith's 2 hard games - 16-10 loss to Souths and 8-6 win over Parramatta.

Whether 3 hard games in a row will affect Penrith in the GF is a watch this space

All things considered with our unbelievable achievements in the face of such adversity this year, seeing souffs lose in a GF will be icing on the cake and make all our bad luck seem worthwhile.

Actually it was the roosters who got riff into the gf and if they win it it’s thanks to us. In the press conference Ivan said they stole the idea of the 1st try from Easts snd practiced it all week. So by proxy we may win the gf.
