I think the Staines option is off the table now as the Tigers and Panthers are working out an arrangement for a swap deal. Panthers want Tyrone Peachey back for pocket change and it looks like they're open to releasing Staines to Wests.

I don't think it's a bad trade for Wests, swapping a 31yo utility for a 22yo winger.

Both are fringe first graders these day and will assume similar positions at their new club just with slightly more opportunity.

The Staines trade is apparently done because no other club would take him off Penrith’s books.. so a trade was the only way forward and peachey is keen to return home to the riff and is seeking one more shot.

yep the club is waiting for the NRLs new salary cap limit......its going to be a battle to keep Lodge let alone looking at players who will attract 500k plus at Wests or Saints

With no more SST plus Jarred limited by injuries and his age and Collins being such an idiot and being suspended or knocked out all the time, we will struggle if we don’t sign another top prop.
