Don’t get me wrong mate I would love to see the Roosters bring it on home but I don’t think we have the players to match the top 4 sides because of injury & retirement. I tell you what Doc I’m not gonna say the Chooks can’t win it again, I’ll keep my opinion to myself because I think it sh!ts some of the posters on here & it is a Roosters forum so saying the Roosters can’t win it is not the right thing to say.
    Go you MIGHTY ROOSTERS.
I agree with you. We are long odds, extremely unlikely. Penrith and Melbourne are obvious standouts.

Keary signed until 2024 on as much money as he will get elsewhere considering his concussion and ACL risk. It will probably be his last contract too.

If he was the only player missing we would probably win it this year.

We need Keary to steer the ship and control the game. Walker not ready for that. Also if Walker goes down we have Keary as the main half.

Teddy/Keary/Walker/Verrills as our spine is miles ahead of Teddy/Hutch/Walker/Verrills. Not taking anything away from Hutch but Keary provides a lot more.

We have the pack to do some damage. Fix up the d, complete our sets and kick deep. You never know.

          It was actually shit.

Our side this weekend would beat that craphouse dogs side.

So in your world, we are NOT allowed to

            1) be critical of other clubs most importantly Souffs, and

            2) we are not allowed to dream or hope that we might do something big?

Geezus! Lucky MLK didn't have you around his time otherwise when he uttered those words "I have a dream..." You would have told him to stop fantasising!

Ease Up! It's Hypothetical! Do I need to tell you what that means?

I doubt anyone other than Dogs fans believed they could win it...I knew it was a foregone conclusion souffs were going to win it...even if they didn't have the refs support.

Firstly I think if Keighran keeps improving his normal role in the centre and because he is a good kicker he keeps his spot...we are not going to try out someone who isn't a goal kicker. I haven't seen Smith kick that much so I can't tell...

Secondly congratulations because many are not getting the point of this thread. This isn't about what it would feel to win the comp...that's another thread. This thread is about what would happen if we did win it and then what of Hutch, Lam & Baker because these 3 have another 3 waiting to take their place next year.

Would Robbo drop 3 Grand finalists and possible winners or would he be telling those 3 waiting to take their place next year that they'll be reserves ...? That's the conundrum if we did win it and it would never have happened before to my knowledge.

On the weekend I mentioned that I expect us make another play for Herbie Farnworth for 2023. 106kg vs 90kg for Keighran. Bigger, taller, faster, stronger, and can kick goals.

The Dragons had Bath's Babes, this would be Robbo's Rabble. But the Roosters are no butterflies, they're hornets.

Not so sure about that. Robbo playing Walker off the bench a clue to his thoughts that Walker is not ready. I would not be surprised to see Keary and Hutch starting with Walker on the bench for next year.

I also think having a long kicker on the field is even more important than having a goal kicker.

We’d be better premiers than gestapo gladys that’s for sure

Difficult job trying to manage the pandemic. She said today that she'd rather be having the "LGAs of concern are being persecuted" conversation...lockdowns, stay at home rules, curfews etc..."than having to console the many thousands of grieving loved ones of the thousands of people who would've died...and the conversation as to why it was allowed to happen."

Keary not important to this team, fark me dead how can anyone say that with a straight face.

I always love how people Say “anyone can beat anyone” (it hasn’t been happening this year btw) and then have like 3 examples in the last 25 years to back it up

Canterbury in 2014 in 6th or 7th whatever they finished were only about 2 wins behind us in 1st place they were hardly some dog shit team making up the numbers

If the dopey wicked witch of west actually acted in the beginning instead of doing fark all until it was too late we’d have been out of this mess a long time ago

Nah, delta is so contagious it was always doing to escape, and be spread by people refusing to stay home.

we're rightly long odds to win the comp atm - we're more likely to lose this weekend than win the comp but the good thing is we don't have to worry about winning the comp right now and can just concentrate on the titans who will be ready to play

I hope we win the grand final playing against Manly, not sure if we can play them as I haven't gone through the draw to see who needs to win what games for it to happen.

Us beating them I can finally shut my brother up about his team winning the grand final in 1978 after playing 5 games in 2 weeks as doing it the hard way, this would be a bigger feat with what 2021 has thrown us.
