Wayne will be filthy, too. And you could sense that in the presser. This was his last chance at a Premiership.

And with Skeletor and Reynolds leaving this may well be the spiral that sees Latrine descend into the inconsistent fat slob we all anticipated in his post Roosters future.

Jack you mentioned Goodes in your post raising your alternative view to that of the PP. It was pretty clear what you were alluding to. I’ve had this discussion with you before about why I hate racism and why it’s personal to me so you should not be at all surprised that I would disagree with your comments trying to compare the Goodes and Mitchell situations. I was not having a kick at you but voicing my opinion on how this thread was about to go down the racism path when the Latrell incident had absolutely nothing to do with racism. And when did I ever say I didn’t like you? We’re allowed to have different opinions aren’t we?

I've been saying this for years Stringaz (hope you and your Mum are doing ok too by the way). The fact that Fletch ended up calling them a bunch of thieves at Fitzy's farewell after going to play for them and being handed the captaincy and then having to move to the UK to earn the shortfall they didn't pay him..Wingy never fulfilling his 4 year deal with them either after turning down a smaller tenure with us and then as I said last week on here, Russell Fairfax saying to me that he'll never cheer for them against us..NOTHING ever good happens by them leaving us to go to them..so stop doing it Roosters!

Mum and I are good RWB, thanks for asking. She was pretty upset at what happened to Joey and is very disappointed in latrells behaviour.

To the best of my knowledge, Les Boyd was not a first national. And another difference is that he was a thug on the field but a really decent bloke off the field. Latrell is a moral vacuum on and off the field.

Just to weigh in on both sides . I detest racism because of family reasons and just because its wrong.
BUT what Goodes did regarding the spear was always in my opinion designed to cause division. It could end no other way and he knew it . The constant booing on the other hand was just plain wrong but so to was the calling out of a child in such a public manner.The child is only a extension of the parent .

My comment couldn't have been less racist if you read it closely. Both guys deserve to be booed....NOT because they are black. That's pretty clear I would think. If I said I think they should be booed BECAUSE of their skin colour then that's completely different.

You just seem to cherrypick my comments a bit lately, and give a couple of other "characters " here the red carpet treatment. Strange considering .

Despite accepting the charge, Latrell thinks he did nothing wrong. In fact, he's saying the whole thing was self defence!

About 70 seconds after Manu was floored by Mitchell, he charged over to the Souths No.1, saying: “Why did you do that for? It was a dog shot”.

Audio from Channel Nine’s coverage reveals Mitchell yelling back “I don’t need to apologise” and “I was protecting my f---ing head”.

To me though the booing came first. He was never booed to that degree early in his career. The booing increased once he started to speak up on indigenous issues. The calling out of the girl was a big moment, but as confronting as it was that’s the point. It’s the institutionalised racism passed down by parent to child that’s one of the reasons we have racism. There is no reason for a child to call someone an ape but if the parent says it’s cool, then it’s cool. Sometimes it takes someone to speak out just like Robbo did in the presser on Friday, for an injustice to be heard. I know this issue is divisive and my opinion may be different to yours and others. It’s the reason why it should not have been mentioned in this thread as the Latrell issue is completely different.

It was the wrong play and IMO Wayne shoulda hooked him rather than letting him go back on and score tries. IMO Robbo woulda done that... take him off and tell him to go clean the filth off in the shower rooms while watching his team struggle without him... emphasising that it was a dog act, it's beneath the club's standards and his mate's just been rushed off to hospital. To me that's the lesson he needed.

Instead this moment bolstered them and they shamelessly took full advantage of us being down a star centre (one of three top-team players we had available by that stage given SST had been rubbed out). Yep, 'pride' of the league. Totally...

I watched a bit of Bennett's post match waffle this morning. Normally I steer well clear of the senile old bat. He might actually have a bigger chip on his shoulder and a bigger sense of entitlement than Latrell ? His reaction "nothin I can do about it now". Who was it in this whole saga that said Latrell has to get that out of his game - Robbo .
