I can’t disagree with you mate I mean he barely lasted a couple of games..

As soon as his name came up as a possible option in the centre’s many on here were sceptical due his injury history, which has now been justified..

Meh, lay off the guy... coulda happened to anybody.

Rotten situation but IMO this was not 'inevitable'. It's just a rotten situation for everybody.

Yep and by that measure he's done a good job IMO. He's filled a gap that we've had, allowing us to keep everybody in their right positions during the few weeks before finals. Another week or 2 outta him woulda been nice but what can you do?

Respect to the guy for playing ~70 with a busted foot.

why would he go to a tougher sport than the neck holding, lay down sally sport he is currently playing?

Some people aren’t made for the toughness of league. Look at Copley’s history. Constantly injured. Can barley string 2 consecutive games together. I said this before his signing was confirmed. Stupid move to sign a player with his history of injury.

Nothing personal against the guy and I hope he recovers well and considers getting a real job.

I feel you. It’s not the game it was. If not for my dedication to our club there’s no way I’d be watching. Footy use to be so much better. All athletes these days and very few actual footballers. And the game’s gone way too soft. Jarred’s sin binning, Angus’ suspension, Radley.

it is amazing how in so few years, our game has turned into such a cluster fk.

Through the 90s to the early 2000s I went from a teenager to a mid twenties age, and loved the game, thought it was as good as it could get, maybe everyone around that age, regardless of the decade, thought the same.

I wonder how many will look at these past few years and think the same?

Ross the gear managers kids could step up. Theyve been around for years and would know our game. should be old enough

Right so a guy who plays 78 minutes with a broken foot doesn't have the toughness to play NRL. Gotcha.

What a stinking comment about a guy who played on with a broken bone in his foot. You should be ashamed, if that's possible.

FFS !... Lets just put the XMAS tree up and call it a year... Unbelievable injury toll, never seen anything like it and never hope to again.

Never thought I'd ever ask this questions but when is Ikuvalu back?

Copley was doing okay with 2 tries and I was thinking he may have been a chance of snaring a minor contract to add depth for 2022. Not sure now

Some players are just unlucky with injury.

Realistically a player has the potential to get injured each time there is a collision with another player.

Only a very small percentage have a career with very few injuries. Many only play a handful of games and retire due to their body not being able to cope with any more injuries. That's the nature of the game.

Copley showed a lot of ticker to play 78 minutes with a broken foot. You could see he was struggling but he toughed it out for his teammates. I respect that. It's a shame as he looked pretty good in his short stint.
