the role of the coach is to win a premiership but they give the award before that vital bit of info is known still that's not going to change.

at this stage i'd give it to bellamy - only 2 losses, one by 4, the other by 2 and i'd have robbo 2nd but if the storm don't win it and the roosters make the prelim then robbo would be a moral winner

true it is kind of off to award these things when the race isn't over yet. Like deciding the Clive Churchill winner just after halftime. Can't argue that Melbourne would just shade us on that basis as you say. Robbo has been unbelievable though.
