The upside to this, assuming the comp gets back after this week, is that other teams will have to play catch up and either forced to play 2 games in short turnarounds or extend the comp for a week, while we take a week off to recover.

Will have to play the games mid week one would say - during the next week if the lockdown isn't more than 3 days or the NRL can get some sort of exemption to play or relocate games - mmm maybe all aboard a flight to Canberra or Melbourne if their lockdown is lifted -will be crowded though if the AFL move their team to Melbourne or Regional Victoria (Geelong etc)

Taking the Roosters out of the equation the team I would love to see win the comp is the Tigers. Melbourne deserve to win the comp this year & I will be happy for them if they do because they are the best team who have been impacted by covid more than any other team but yet lead the comp. Incredible club mate.
I know I know I talk about Souths but I gotta say they can win the comp this year on their day.

The thing is, CASE numbers mean absolutely nothing, someone with the sniffles or a tickle in the throat or muscle soreness can be classified as a case. What u need to look at is caskets not cases....

Deaths this yr as opposed to 909 Oz wide last yr from covid are only 13 for the whole yr.....and most if not all are 80 or 90yr old who would likely have passed sooner or later.

But apparently this delta strainis the deadliest ever....that's what Dandrews said....yet ZERO deaths this yr in Victoria. Total exaggerated BS all scaring folks to get an dangerous vax.
