A much better scenario than running into Storm/Penrith in week 1.
Yes I agree. I much prefer we play a 7th or 8th team where at this stage we might have more of a chance of winning and go into the next game as winners instead of playing the riff or god forbid a storm and be thrashed and not be able to recover.

Weather forecast on the Sunshine Coast today tonight is rain…let’s hope we use extra sticky spray on the hands.

Got to keep our completion rate above 75%. We can beat anyone if we can hold the ball.....

        Confident about today......

Our for and against is not that good after all the thrashings we’ve had so we need to win games. But there’s still hope unless we lose tonight then I don’t think we will make the 4. But great effort this season considering injuries and retirements of many legends.
We'd have to overcome a points differential of 119. Mammoth effort.

Yes. A spirited win over a mediocre side and then play a team that has been mauled by the pamfers or drizzle.

Early matches do suck. I have to scramble to put the chooks to bed whenever a match is being played during sundown. No pun intended.

Surely you gotta aim for 4th and back yourself to cause an upset and get the week off. What if the storm or Penrith get a bunch of injuries, suddenly you’re right in it. And if you lose in week 1 then you play someone outside the top 4 in week 2.

Pretty sure Robbo will be aiming for 4th.

                    Surely we pump these fools.

We’re the chooks, we’re almost as close to as full strength as we can get, we’ll be there in September and then it’s anyone’s game.

Yep Knights have Pearcie and Klemmer out... they have no chance :P

IMO Ponga's the biggest threat. Shut him down, hold onto the ball and be creative/ambitious in attack. That's my advice for the boys before the game.

NRL coaches have pinpointed that Ikuvalu is the weak link in the Roosters team..

There is a reason why opposition kickers now kick predominantly to their left side when they play Easts

Ask yourself.....who is the better winger,Josh Morris or Fumbles Ikuvalu?
With all due respect. Please stop. Ur hate for ikuvalu is just getting annoying. Yes he’s weak under the high ball. Still better than a lot of wingers in the comp. don’t u have any other opinion other than iku hate

No due respect deserved. How many times has Jared coughed up a ball which leads to a try? Add SST, and all other players that have dropped a ball which leads to tries against us. A dropped ball should not lead to a try if our defence was solid. This ‘member’ seems like a rig in from another club.
