Eels have storm and Penrith to play so we have an excellent chance of top 4 but must win tonight and get our first win against a top side this year next week. Our for and against is not that good after all the thrashings we’ve had so we need to win games. But there’s still hope unless we lose tonight then I don’t think we will make the 4. But great effort this season considering injuries and retirements of many legends.

Obviously a win tonight is a must, but considering the type of season we’ve had, I’d be pleased with a 5th position and getting to play 8th, and after winning week 1 e get to play the loser ( either souffs or parra) whom we should beat and that gets us to the PF. A much better scenario than running into Storm/Penrith in week 1.
Pretty sure Robbo will be aiming for 4th.

Confident about today......
IMO Ponga's the biggest threat. Shut him down, hold onto the ball and be creative/ambitious in attack. That's my advice for the boys before the game.

NRL coaches have pinpointed that Ikuvalu is the weak link in the Roosters team..
There is a reason why opposition kickers now kick predominantly to their left side when they play Easts
Ask yourself.....who is the better winger,Josh Morris or Fumbles Ikuvalu?
