you're only as good as your last game and in his he captained the roosters to a big victory in a bread and butter in the middle of winter match.
we were very lucky to have him. he's a bit like aubo in his devotion to the team, no ego about him.
if he didn't play in the gf v canberra maybe we don't win.

Bmoz as humble and as thankful as ever - a joy to listen to. Have to say though, the discussion on another thread about sports media commentators - Laurie Daley and Michael Clarke are without doubt the worst going around. Absolutely clueless. Then throw in that Dave Stanley or whatever his name is. Not keeping Jimmy Smith on that show was one of the dumbest decisions ever.

Then throw in that Dave Stanley or whatever his name is. Not keeping Jimmy Smith on that show was one of the dumbest decisions ever.

I have listened regularly for many years, and I just take it for what it is, I got used to Daley as he is a happy go lucky larrikin, but Clarke is pretty bad, his voice is extremely annoying.

TK was the best on that show, I never listens when he was partnered with freedman, but many say that was when it was the best pairing.

I loved TK, and Richard Freedman was outstanding imo. I agree that was the best pairing - by far. As mentioned I thought Jimmy Smith was brilliant, not just because of the good Roosters content he'd bring. Michael Slater not so much. I rarely listen now. Ray Thomas and Dean Ritchie on the weekend just about unlistenable. Ray Thomas seems like a nice bloke though. Bit like Laurie.

How disappointing for BMoz to end like this but also for us who have enjoyed every minute he has played for us. I remember that when Morrises started their career at the dragons, I was disappointed they didn't do that with us but at least they have made it to our club and will still hope that JMoz can retire with a premiership. In retrospect, BMoz has had a career that most would envy and he will see that the bigger picture is that he has been very fortunate.

I agree with you about Laurie Daley. He seriously got lucky inthe 2014 Origin series, if Cronk doesn't break his arm in Game 1, we probably lose it 3 zip. For such a great player he is seriously clueless. I don't mind Clarkey, he doesn't take himself too seriously when they're talking about the footy but I agree with you about Dave Stanley.....he just reminds me of the nerdy talentless try hard kid at school. He lost me when he had a run at hosting and was relentless with the salary cap jibes
