What a player. How far away from Immortal status could BMoz be? What else could a winger have done - for 15 seasons- that he didn't do?

The greatest winger since Ken Irvine.

Watching Bmoz don our jersey has been an honour. And if you were to judge his performances week to week in the old RLW 1-10 scale, he'd have probably averaged a 9 over his time with the club.

Pound for pound, perhaps the most consistently brilliant player I've seen in a Roosters jersey. He just had zero poor games.

Congrats on a remarkable career, Brett.

I've never felt so empty after such a great win. Was a truly sad and heart breaking occasion watching the scenes in the shed after full time

With Bmoz gone and Iluvalu looking extremely shaky, who is our next long term winger? Any major talent coming through in that position?

Never an off field issue and universally loved by every single team he’s played at. Says something about the man rather than the player. He just so happens to also be one of, if not the greatest all round winger we’ve seen. Your finish won’t summarise your career. Thank you Brett.

I held a hope he would go around again. He was the best winger in the comp and the best I have seen in our colours - even taking into account Appleby.

Great winger who had no weakness in his game , he could make the tough run out of his end , brilliant finisher, great hands catching or getting a ball away , handy grubbers to the in goal if cornered and defensively the best to have played the game and a fantastic bomb defuser.
We were so fortunate to get him and he finished his career in the style it deserved playing with a great team.

I knew he was an elite player but the way he played for the Roosters right up until his last, showed he was at the pinnacle right to the end. Welcome Coach Morris
                    ..it’ll be interesting to see

One of Roosters masterstroke signing. Wish he would give another crack next year

Oh man! Seemed like the only decision at his age unfortunately. Geez I wish we had him for a lot longer than we did. What a man/player!!

All good things come to an end. What a player he was for the Chooks, first game was in the WCC at FB I think & he was MOTM. He then played a couple of games & then got injured & I was thinking “yeah I don’t know if this blokes gonna be a good signing” because I thought he was injury prone & that he was 33 but my God did he prove me wrong. He is definitely the best winger I’ve seen play for the Chooks & maybe the best player to play at the Chooks.

I admit I had no idea how good he was until he played for us. Represents everything our great club stands for

The Morris twins were always favourite non Roosters. A privilege to watch Brett be an integral part of our back to back quest. Even the last few days, I entertained him coming back. Like Robbo said about Friend, maybe not a fairytale ending, but a fairytale career.

Thanks for your efforts Champion, you will be sorely missed.
