Smith may move Pearce to 5/8 & play Maloney at halfback?

        You never know?

We can only buy who's on the market.

Maloney can play halfback and Pearce 5/8.
          There, that's better, problem solved.

Legitimately, that would be smart. But then this is captain Mindf*** we're talking about.

Who cares what numbers they wear anymore? Maloney and Pearce will be in the halves and Maloney is a solid first grader who can kick conversions, which is something that's going to cost us badly this year cause Anasta is our first choice (and he's not that great at it) and after that we got nothing.

Leilua is a good goal kicker but never given the chance..

Pearce must be 5/8. It's his best position. Baloney can feed the scrims.

His kicking game and goal kicking are much more of an assett, also his ability to back up a line break, of course these stats do not count for anything

Funny, that is a strong point of Mitchell's game, yet you never give him credit for it.

                          I do believe so.
Pearce could be another 'Lockyer' type if he applied himself.

I said when we signed him Maloney isn't a creative player. His strengths are his support play and goal kicking, he isn't the great play maker people make him out be.

I still don't mind the signing but he isn't what I would call an elite player.

Maloney is a halfback, I've been saying this since we signed him. He has a very good running game which is a bonus on top of his organisational game but he has even less ability than Pearce to play outside of a structure.

This is why it's paramount that we have a fullback who can ball play and why I rate Wells as the key to any success in the near future.
