Maloney - Is there anything to this?

Maloney is a halfback, I've been saying this since we signed him. He has a very good running game which is a bonus on top of his organisational game but he has even less ability than Pearce to play outside of a structure.

This is why it's paramount that we have a fullback who can ball play and why I rate Wells as the key to any success in the near future.

I think you're right. I'm okay with an organised, structured attack though. There aren't many teams that go on and win grand finals by throwing the ball around. We definitely need a fullback in the mould of Locke/Slater or a fullback in the mould of Hayne. Someone of that calibre too. Hopefully one of our young guys becomes that player.
