That’s a wild rumour but it doesn’t make sense for the Roosters to get Taumalolo despite how good he is as a middle forward.

Our club is too smart to pay $1m a year for a forward.

His asking price will be too much but if he were to come and play as a "prop" only for 2-3 years max at Cordner's salary or less then yes, I'd have him a second. The speed of the game now won't suit him at Lock and there's no way I'd be replacing Radley, but as I've said on another post before ... we are one big body front row forward short !

I think he would suit our system very well, would want to go to a club which is a consistent contender for a premiership (us) and also the alluring factor could be his connection/familiarity with the fellow "Tokos" (Tongan brothers) in our team !

I'd say ... there would be no harm in having a casual chat with his Manager !

(Even just for shits and giggles ... always good to spin the media hype wheel and see the reaction from butt hurt fans from other clubs having a sook ... lmao )

That would work well, just punt Radley and he could slot in. Sound good to you?

Absolute beast in the middle of the field with his footwork and power. When the cowboys were a good team they wouldn't lose if they were in front when he came on for his 2nd stint. He guaranteed field position and Thurston would keep you pinned down.
I've never seen those long term contracts be successful in any sport , the last few years you are getting a shell of the player in their prime.

id probably take j papalli before big jt these days, not that canberra would let him go. but while we're on unrealistic signings, munster at 5/8th would be handy for the rest of the year.

actually more realistically i wonder if the chooks could entice that luke thompson from the dogs over? not that i've seen much from him, but i believe he is a bit fiery, and a pommy and might thrive in a well coached team, i know he is on biggish money at the dogs, maybe we could throw in a player? . im sure he didn't come all this way to win 2 games a season? just a thought.

With all due respect to JT who is probably the best forward in the comp, I don't think we need him. We already have one of the best packs IMO.

Buddy Franklin - Sydney Swans - 10 million 9 year contract which expires in 2022.

                                2019 - 10 games
                                2020- 0 games
2021- 1 game from 3 so far - looks like he will play every second week or so
