Looking forward to having that problem of picking four out of JWH (a given), Liu (a given), Butcher (a given), Lussick, Hutcho, Keihgran, Fifita, Lam, Baker for our bench. And hopefully Cordner and Friend both play again which will add Sitili and Verrills to that list.
At the moment it looks so far away.

Of course the ACL injury is the curse of many a footballer - some come back like nothing has happened/ some are not the same again and some vanish never to be seen again.
Being first in line for the halfback role at the Dragons then suffering the ACL obviously had a dramatic affect on him and going to the UK superleague was probably not what he wanted to do but to resurrect his career it was probably the best thing at the time.
He has worked hard to get back into the NRL and he should be respected on that basis notwithstanding being a Chooks player
Not a bad Junior Kangaroos side he was the 5/8 for either - 2nd link down

His playmaking ability and general play kicking game will keep him in the side for the time being.

There's a certain calmness about him. Maybe it's because he seems to be doing things in slow motion lol...
Hutch is clutch?

I feel the need to shoot down the idea of Manu in the no.6 role. Big fan, but I feel Joey needs to add more maturity and polish to the position he's in. Him jumping into the 6 postion at times during games is a bit different from starting there. We may have no choice god forbid if the injury toll rises but like mentioned, I would only like to see lam/keighran/hutch there this year.

Cordner will follow after that and than mid season Billy Smith.
I dare say Keighran will go straight to 5/8 until Lam returns. My guess is once Lam returns Robbo will give him the opportunity to cement his spot in the starting side.
When Verrills returns than Lussick will drop back to the bench.
Our team will look stronger each week and if we can avoid any more lengthy injuries than we might be in a stronger position than what we're feeling at the moment.
If Lam can't impress I wonder if Robbo will trial Manu at 5/8 with Billy Smith at Centre.
Either way at least we will start to have some options once some injuries clear up.
I'm starting to feel somewhat optimistic!
Still very early days.
