Victor Radley has tonight been unsuccessful in overturning his Grade One Dangerous Contact (Other) charge at the NRL Judiciary.

The Club entered a plea of Not Guilty for Radley after he was cited for an incident that occurred in the 20th minute against Warriors player Jazz Tevaga, which the NRL judiciary denied at a hearing this evening.

Consequently, while Radley will receive a monetary fine of $1800, he will be available to line up for the Roosters' Round 5 match against the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks.

Surely that wasn't for when the warrior player hurt his leg ? That was nothing like a hip drop that the storm do, I couldn't remember any other incident in the game where it could have been.

They deemed the Munster tackle okay a couple of weeks and fine the Radley tackle. Go figure.

What about the knee to Morris's head? A crusher could cause a head/neck injury. A knee to the head does cause a head/neck injury.

I'd be most interested in hearing why he was found guilty as there was no intent to injure tevaga to my mind. As the three posts above mine (21 to 23) attest, the logic to their rulings can be hard to grasp.

Anyone listening to the new HG and Roy show on ABC? They went all out on Bellamy's feeling insulted that he's been accused of coaching his team to harm the opposition. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
