i dont rrally understand some bagging hutch,i thpught he went alright, but then again , i'm convinced some on here watch different games to me altogether. there must be an alternate nrlwith an alternate roosters team , who finish in exactly the same spot as the roosters team i watch , but play totally different games against the same oppositon . there is one for the conspiracy theorists.

I totally agree with you. Robbo was never going to play Joey at 6 when Walker was playing his first game. He needed a solid number 6 with a kicking game to help him. Hutch did this perfectly last night. Hutch might not be a star but he is reliable. He shared the kicking duties, taking pressure off Walker. He will hold his a spot for the time being.

One thing I will say about Hutch is that he is in career best form.

Put that down to increased fitness somewhat. But mainly that elusive intangible for success in any sport or life in general really....confidence!

I liked the fact Hutch was willing to take the line on, I didn't like it so much that it was mostly just on every 5th tackle from 5metres out.

Still needs to choose his moments better.
