    Yeah I quite like it.

Rightly or wrongly, I sorta hope it'll keep his penalties/suspensions down as well (i.e. playing a bit less but as a super sub).

He was the only experienced player on our bench today and we still put 40 points on them. IMO he held his own...

      8. Taukeiaho
      9. Verrills
      10. Collins
      11. Crichton
      12. Tupouniua
      13. Radley

      14. JWH
      15. Liu
      16. Cordner
      17. Friend

I like the idea of Cords and Jake on the bench. Fewer minutes to reduce the likelihood of a HIA but massive impact and experience. That's an awesome bench with Butcher, Fifita and Keighran in the wings too.
Changing of the guard there Tommy. What a perfect transition with players potentially being a like for like.
      I love JWH

Jared had a fantastic game. He also didn’t concede a single penalty.

I hope not. With Jake, Sam and Lussick all out next week the club might be calling me to find them a new hooker. I’ll just give them Mickie Lane’s number.

He conceded one set restart for not being square at marker but yes he was fantastic.

Problem is it feels like that’s been our go to line for the past 12 months... once we’re back at full strength or once player x gets back. I don’t remember that every being an issue in our premiership years, I don’t see it being an issue for the Canberra, Penrith & Melbourne packs. A good pack runs deeper than the 6 starters and 4 bench players, I liked our aggression in defence in the 2nd half to dominate field position but it felt like that came after we’d already broken the spirit of Wests. In the early exchanges we were too easily matched by a bottom 8 side.

Lol, I must’ve missed that one. Too good to be true then.

We’ve beaten two very low rated teams but can we mix it with the top teams? Beating vermin is next. We really need to not underestimate them and play a good game. Don’t know if we have recovered mentally from that trashing or not. So it’s a real test of character for us. Id be tempted to play Suuali to spite Mitchell. He is way better than Latrell and doesn’t need much time in lower grades.

Watching Jared over the last couple of weeks has been interesting.
Last year , it seemed like he was below his best.
This year, he is coming off the bench, breathing fire and aggression, and ready to rip in.
                      Maybe a stroke of coaching genius, for the following reasons;
                      i) Doesn't have to play the endurance game anymore, so goes harder when he gets on.
ii) He has been replaced as starting prop in the side. Is he p*ssed off ?- yes probably, Motivated to prove he is still top dog? yes, probably
iii) If he plays limited minutes in each game, it will prolong his career now that he is in the final few years of his playing days.

On Lussick, Robbo said in the presser that he hasn't played a lot of footy and was a bit gassed after 30 mins. Then the Hutch did such a good job he didn't see any reason to change things

I say Robbo was bullshitting had an awesome game for Norths last week easily MOM ...The kid is good but it just did not happen this week..God I am only an arm chair critic and was hoping he would get replaced.
Hopefully it has not put a dent in his confidence and delivers next week unless Sammy V is available but he will lack fitness too .

I should have said he didn't play for Norths, not against Norths too....must be my dyslexia kicking in.

Once Jake got hurt last week, they pulled him from the game the next day which means he had 30 mins in the trial against the Raiders and that was pretty much it, so a little underdone
