Trouble going on within the bears - what does this mean for our partnership with them

Update on the bears: things have seemed to have settled (for their board at least) as they were able to regroup after the AGM and reinstate the Chairman who had been voted out - thus probably keeping all his connections, and the support of other key stakeholders.
The new board member who had been voted in by many bear’s members proxy votes supported the chairman being reinstated (as it was many of her proxy votes that she instructed that chairman section be left blank so she could have control over those votes herself) and has already resigned from their board to take up a new membership engagement role at the club.
Also last week CEO David Perry resigned who many of the bears members had a problem with apparently due to information being withheld from them and incidents they claim where he embarrassed members at public events by calling them out on various things. Sounds like he just has had enough and wants to move on.
In summary seems that some stability has returned to their organisation after it had been sent into chaos and their chairman being reinstated is the best thing possible for the club at the present time - and that their wannabe fanatics who want a say in the club stick to fan/community engagement not strategy. This should mean our partnership with them should be ‘safer’ but I’m sure they still have an few things to answer to uncle nickLast edited by NorthChook; 03-25-2021, 06:43 PM.

One of the reasons I think tomorrow is a special gig is we get the Bears Roosters double against the arch enemies in 2 grades. Don't get much better.
