    Not sure I'd risk him again given his player manager antics. He doesn't seem to fit into the team culture the Roosters and Robbo have going. Handy player though.

      If very cheap....... but no.
      Boyd = Angus / Stilli
      Friend = Sam and Freddie

      I think replacing the Morris Brothers is our bigger issue next year.
      Staggs would be my buy. Centre, young and a goal kicker!

      Suaalii = wing
      Staggs = Centre

        If Boyd does retire I'd use a portion of the money to find a quality prop in his early to mid 20s. Maybe a scary one from over in England.
        Ive only ever heard of one scary english player and his name was...

          I agree Bunny and Angus are better value. Matterson is too mercenary.

            He has a player option for 2022 - I heard the Dogs are after him -3 year deal supposedly close to 2 mill. No sure for player options if a player/manager can negotiate before the usual Nov 1 period - In this case Nov 1 2021.

            Plays a similar role to Cordner though

              if we get our 350k relief for cordner approved we could do worse than re-signing matto for this year alone

                  Replace one player from head knocks with another sufferer

                    Matterson is one of the worst players (let alone second rowers) going around. Lazy, ineffective and mostly a passenger.

                      No where near as tough as Cords mate. You won’t see him take a hit up from his own end. Might be more skillful than Boyd but Boyd is so much tougher.

                            With Chris Orr as his manager it's no wonder he carries on like this.

                            If Boyd retired I would have thrown a heap of $$ at the Broncos kid that just re signed with them. Jordan Reicke. Gonna be a gun. And he's got mongrel in him.

                              A shame, as if it were based purely on ability i'd have no qualms at all. Just think Robbo wont have a bar of that kind of ego.

                              Still not totally sold on Sitili. For me, he is bench impact.

                              Starting second row with no cords is......Gus - Radley - ?

                              There will be a new face no doubt
                              Gus - Radley - Tupouniua

                              Bench rotation for second row:

                              Adam Keighran = Lock (Utility - when recovered)
                              Butcher = 11
                              Liu = 12

                                Yeah nah ... no to Matto

                                Just too much contract and management drama with him. Not as bad as Latrell but he's up there in top 5 low-key player contract issues for flops !
