It is bagging Lam though - to say that Walker will replace him is wishful thinking on your and your mobs part - Walker hasn't played for 12 months for starters and apart from 40 minutes in a trial match hasn't played against seasoned players - he would be targetted for sure and certain and more importantly he is not NRL ready and may not be for 12 months or more - the 12 months he had off put him back 12 months.

I actually rate Ronald Volkman as being a better prospect than Walker

I thought it would of been close but the Chooks were on & made Manly look like a Canterbury Cup side.
I feel for Friend & Keighran but looks like Lussick & possibly Walker will get their chance next week.

I'm not saying you are wrong with your assessment of Volkman, I rate him highly too, but I just watched him play Flegg. That means the Roosters coaching staff might have him ranked below Keary, Lam, Hutchison, Walker & arguably Coby Thomas & Keighran as a halves option. I realise it's early days but that's a fair way down the pecking order & unless they are just trying to get some km's in his legs & some game time & he's been promised more I can't see him hanging around with the potential he has & the interest he will attract.

Volkman's not contracted by the Chooks - top 30 or on a Development contract so they would only be playing him in Jersey Flegg i suggest until either of those are sorted out if they are sorted out that is.

if ypu are refering to me, name one post where ive bagged jwh, i defended butcher not 2 weeks ago and why robbo picks him . The only thing i believe ive said re sitili is he needs to improve his reading of defence, friend i have criticised and to be fair sometimes he has deserved it.

I wasn’t overly convinced about them last year RWB but this year I think they deserve to be favorites. Cleary & Luai are the best halves pairing in the game & their forward are real good.

I suppose you've also coached an NRL team so have every right to criticise the coach.

From memory you said Robbo made a huge mistake for choosing Cronk over Pearce and he should fall on his sword if it failed. You also said he made a huge mistake choosing Walker over Flanno and he should fall on his sword if it failed. And you also said Lam has too small a frame to be a halfback yet in a matter of months and one game you are now defending him.

I would just like to say that as Roosters supporters we should be able to discuss the games and players without the snipping and name-calling after all we are grown men and women.
I respect others' opinions, and if I don't agree with another opinion so be it. Can we agree to disagree. It is only 1 game into the season. Cheers.
