not sure rads and verrills will be fit and i'd go with lam, with walker breathing down his neck

I don't agree on Butcher. He constantly gets pushed back with the ball and his attempted tackle for one of their tries was embarrassing. I don't think he is big enough to play that middle role. Maybe the new rules will help him. I hope so.

Can't see Rads and Verrills playing R1. Keighran should get the bench spot until Verrills is ready. I thought he went well at dummy half in the trial. Much better service than Maubs. Covers other positions as well.
Doubt Walker will play NRL for a few weeks but wouldn't look out of his depth if he did play.
Butcher very underrated in here.

Looking at that team I can't believe how many so called experts have us out of the Top 4 and even saying we are on the decline. Maybe I'm the bad judge.

The insiders have already said that Keary and Lam will get first crack. I saw nothing on Saturday to suggest that Lam doesn't deserve his chance. Walker is exciting but I think Robbo will take an 'easy does it' approach with him.

If the Chook Pen had been selecting the team over the years we would have signed a new halfback everytime someone had a slightly off game.

Lam deserves his shot.

Walkers time will come.

Contrary to popular belief, there is no concrete indication that Walker will be a superior player to Lam.

As exciting as Walker may be, Lammy has earnt that spot. He rightfully has first crack and I think he is in for a big year.. Having said that I am also really excited for Walker to debut when there is an opportunity.

Having watched our trials I agree there is plenty to be excited about. We have genuine depth in the halves and dummy half roles.

Hutch ??? he holds the Brett Finch Trophy for halfback...hand on Finch is a pro compared to him....stop gap player ..if we lose two teams in a plane crash.
Walker...I would love it he may get hammered in grueling season ..He will get his opportunities with a game here and there and possibly a build up .
If he was to be thrown into the fire I would prefer the back end of the season.
