The year I opted for the scarf was for the 2018 season so missed out on a cap for the premiership winning season, the scarf was horrible with Biden lawyers all over it, I ended up giving it my nephew. This years cap is good, I have decided to retire my 2013 cap because it is getting very ragged, haven’t worn the 2019 cap but started wearing the 2020 cap this year. Have two nice dressy Roosters scarfs which I like wearing when I go out in winter and a pretty generic one which I wear to the footy in the colder months.

My 2009 cap was all scorched from sitting in the sun so much during that memorable season -memorable for all the wrong reasons . I think I threw that out so not included in my inventory. Yes I give anything with Brydens Lawyers on it to my hairdresser as he gets all my Roosters cast offs..

I love my 2013 cap as Robbo signed it for me on ANZAC day..much better year that was..

Got our family pack today. Pretty good this year! Included...
          - A footy
          - A water bottle
          - A cap
          - Lotsa lanyards (awesome for Canberra as everybody walks around town with those bloody work lanyards around their necks - maybe I should start now)
          - Loooots of stickers (will put them on and park my car in Redfern when our car's on the outer)
          - Patches (10 year - 'Jack Gibson Club')
          - Keyrings as pictured (but gold with 10+ year member on them)
          - Coins (I got a Minichiello one which is awesome)
          - 3 Collection vouchers for either a cap or a scarf
          - Stacks of Red Rooster vouchers

Decent stash of gear IMO. Oh and randomly, it came via Victoria. Dunno why...

              Hi Milanja,

I'll happily send her my cap as I only opened my pack last night and am yet to wear the cap. I have more than enough so just PM your details if you would like and I can post it to you. I live across the road from our local PO and finish work every week day at 4pm and work from home so no troubles getting it to her.

I also got the Mini coin (even my little Faiders mate I work with is jealous of that one!) and the mother of all Jack Gibson patches for 15 years plus membership and another keyring so they are all on my work desk now. I'll give all my Red Rooster vouchers to friends and the sticker is on the fridge.

The more Roosters caps in Canberra the better it is

Thanks RWB, we will probably head up for either the first round or the next home game,so will pick it up from the roosters merchandise stand then, but thank you very much for the offer, just not sure why in a different members pack you need to do it via redemption?

I now have the 3 coins (artie, dally and mini) and all the patches, now I have to wait til my twenty year membership for the next patch, I think they go up in 5yr gaps.

That's pretty poor whats the redemption for - not knowing if she wanted the hat or the scalf? - get onto Robbo.

I still think it was one of my mates putting it on that it was Robbo ringing me about renewing my membership a few years back. If it was really Robbo. I could have given him some suggestions about training and game plans - chip and chase more in the opponents 20 with the fullback up in the line in defence , the cross field kick when the opposition defence is compressed , the old fashion bomb - in goal near the posts and ditch opposed training sessions - more flexibility and endurance training and practice not given away 6 again's and cheap penalties by laziness.

Never know I could of landed a role on the coaching staff with these ideas as I am sure Robbo and his coaching staff would never had thought of these plus I have other ideas. Be like Steve Kerrigan in the Castle - Robbo's ideas man

I sent Robbo an email requesting short kickoffs be the default, always making them a contest for possession, ala Rugby.

                    I'm expecting a response innemintly.

Like Mick Cronin's short dribble kick offs or a revamped wall.

Chooks have problems with short kick off's in both kicking and receiving them. Something they should practice.

Big Pappi gave me a call a few years back. Kinda sad that you lose that player interaction when you automatically re-sign.

Teddy should be calling me to say happy birthday + B-Moz should be asking me to come and get a latte with him.

I guess the cognac and cigars with Nick P will do.

Rang the merchandise team, and they said because I bought the Flexi membership, they assumed I was from Sydney, so they don’t send the hat or scarf out, and you have to pick it up at the game, but she said she will now send it to Canberra.

They sent both member packs to Canberra, maybe they assume that only my body lives in Canberra, but my neck:head resides in Sydney.

                              it was an odd conversation.
