        That's a better solution than six-again.

Modify the six again, if it is here to stay, so that it is transparent and consistently applied, and get rid of golden point. Draws worked for about 95 years before things had to change. If it aint broke and all that...

And it is always good to have some Rooster connections and influence on these decision making bodies.

          MRR or Rabid

Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.

Hate the 7 tackle set for things like dropped ball over the line, or when a grubber just trickles dead in goal. Why should the defending team get an extra tackle for things like that

The refs are as bad as some of the rules they enforce. What's the plan to change the refs?

Hopefully the end of the Sutton regime and its nepotism.

Bloody oath, barryd . Massive blight on the game and it shits me no end. However, it's not so much a rule change but a commitment to actually enforce the existing rule. Why don't they enforce it? My little rant is that the powers that be assume (or did they survey people on the matter?) that all fans want to see a quick game with lots of tries. I want to see a tough game with skill, fatigue, power and finesse. I don't care if it finishes 8-all if the footy was a contest. The link being that I suspect they don't enforce it because they reckon it will slow the game down.

Just about every rule they've introduced over the past decade or more has been like one tiny death after another.

Seven tackles for 22 metre re-start should be canned! Totally random and hasn't changed a thing other than where kickers target.
Six again will never work because refs hand them out like lollies and they are way too inconsistent!
What is the friggin' point of taking a scrum to the centre of the field? Scrums should happen where the knock-on, etc happens. Keep them ten metres in for out of touch, then you can have an actual backline lined up.
Golden Point? Who needs it? Not me! Plus, a draw allows teams to be spread more on the table.

Need to look at having 2 reserves who can come into the 17 when a player is ruled out of the game through injury or failing the HIA.

Limit the 7 tackles to kicks outside the 20 that go dead etc as who is trying to kick the ball dead from in the 20 on purpose- plus when an attacking player loses the ball in the in goal it should be a 6 tackle 20 metre re-start not 7 tackles

Get rid of golden point for home and away rounds - for finals extra time 10 minutes each way and if still a draw golden point then,

Captains challenge have 2 and for a wider range of decisions - also don't show a replay of an incident so teams can see what happened and then challenge it- cant do that in cricket or look up at the dressing room for assistance either.

Touch judges trained to pick up forward passes as so many are missed as with one ref they don't always see them whereas the touch judges can or should be seeing them -
Nah! The opposite. Touch judges should have their mics taken off them. I'm ok with the odd forward pass missed. One of the biggest travesties the game has is so many fair passes wrongly called forward.

100% mate. Its the only thing I really want changed...just let em go ffs!! Unless so obvious out of the hands forward which is very rare.

Oh and get rid of the strip...make it illegal.

                            Thats all.

I agree with getting rid of the strip rule.
If the ref makes a call of a penalty for a strip or calls a loose carry then both teams have a captain's challenge.

I also think there should be two captain's challenges.

The NRL are exploring technology for 'smart' footballs that are microchipped that could allow a referee to rule quickly if a ball travels forward out of the passers hands...true story.

Theres an article online you're interested...can try and track it down.
