If the Panthers get 10 extra sets from the ref next week like we have given up the past two games we won't beat them. When you usually get about 35 sets a game it's a huge possession difference. I know some of the restarts are only on the 1st or 2nd tackle and aren't full sets but the weight of possession takes its toll physically.

I respect all our moderators here. Past present and even future. Always have done and always will do a wonderful job.

What I am surprised about at those commentators who actually believe Souths can win the comp. Please ffs.MRR or Rabid
Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.

Easts to win! Easts will win! Drop your internal one-upmanship game, the lot of you, and remember or learn how to know what it means to support the RW&B! We are by far the most glorious team since inauguration. We are the team that many despise because of our magnificent history. The team that is giving birth to a new dynasty... that is us!

Spot on Johnny.
I will be upset if the Roosters lose to the riff and the extra sets count is fairly even.
But if it is 10-1 or 6-1 against us , as well as a disadvantage in penalties, like the last 2 games Cummins/ Sutton have controlled, and we lose a tight game, then I will be really p#ssed off.
The trouble with a set restart on the 4th tackle is that it effectively gives the attacking team 10(ten!!) sets that enables them to go the length of the field and get into an opponents red zone.
And guess what happens at the end of the set ?- a grubber into the in-goal , trap the defensive player in - goal, and get another repeat set of six.
Do that 3 times in a game and on top of a lopsided restart count , 50/50 calls & penalties you are possibly getting 80,or 100 extra tackles that you need to make.
In an evenly matched competition that is impossible to defend against.
Call it conspiracy theory, but notice how the power of the referee to control the game gets greater and greater every year with every new rule change?
Does the NRL want to (be able) to pick and select the team holding the Provan / Summons trophy aloft at year end?
Sure they do, if need be.
Having different champions every year appeases the fan base, its good for business and its good for the game.

So, there is only 1 win-win for the entire season.
I’m sure all of the other clubs have much better stats than us, but then again the more things change the more they stay the same!!

Is our faith in our team that shallow after a loss we get off the bandwagon and put the boots into our players.
I see it the complete opposite. After this huge loss, I think we will come out next week with a full strength team(ex friend) and put 50 on whoever we're playing and we will demolish this final series.
Have faith guys, our team needs us!!!
Negative? Because we just got flogged by souths that's why!

So if the Roosters lose you can comfort yourself with the conspiracy.theory.
I think the Roosters are playing a pretty good team at home but I believe they can beat Penrith regardless of the ref or restarts going against them. If they lose it will because Penrith were to good.
