  • Week 1 of finals

So we will be finishing 3rd or 4th.
Do we rest as many players as possible or go hard and go undefeated for the rest of the year

Would you rather play the Storm or Panthers away.
I don't think it will matter in the end, we will go on to win the big one but I would rather play Penrith.

    Panthers for sure.

They're riding momentum, but apart from that I don't rate them as a threat.

fox sports raved on about Kikau the other day and how unstoppable he is...

    His stats were

    134 metres
    1 try
    1 try assist
    4 tackle busts..

    Really impressive...

Teddy does that In 20 mins

I think we can beat the storm, but they are always tough matches and both teams go hard, win or lose can only hope for no injuries against them.

I'd rather play the Storm . A win would put them out of action.

I don't really care. We'll probably have to beat those two plus a dark horse contender that's putting on a late surge in order to win the comp regardless of what happens.

That said, I hate the Drizz and don't want Smith going out with a 3rd premiership. He can take the 2 and be known as the NRL's biggest choker (what 2 from 10 including a 40-0 loss while cheating the salary cap).

So put it this way... I don't want Penrith to win. However I don't wanna see the Drizz get given a free premiership after beating the Eels, taking a week off and then playing some deadbeats to win a 'premiership' that we shoulda won. If somebody else HAS to win then I have nothing against the Riff getting a shot at it. If we play the Drizz then at least I know it's in our hands to stop them from winning a premiership. Not only that... if they beat us, we'll be back at 'em in the GF.

If you want to be the best & win the comp then it doesn’t matter who the Chooks play or where the Chooks play. The Chooks have beaten all contenders for the last 2 years & proved that they are the toughest, roughest, slickest team in the world. IF the Roosters make the GF I would like to see them play Penrith & smack their farken arses.

In order to play the Panfers .......then have to lose to the Vermin on friday !

One thing for sure, both the Riff and the Storm will be hoping to play Parra and not us !
So the Storm will be cheering Souffs on and Panfers will be cheering for us in fridays local derby !

                We beat them both.
Only concern is Storm play to injure key players.

A segue into the last round last year against Souths they targeted Cronk. Was it three or four hits he copped to the back?

We're definetly playing one or both as ism said, I want to avoid Penrith as they are now the "favourites" and also avoid the strom as the two games this year were definetly revenge games for them helped by their mates in pink.

As it's been said tho, no easy road to the premiership, and robbo says every year the path is different.

I hope we are just too good.

The system seems unfair this year.

The top 3 are so ahead of the rest of the pack.

We play to win. And we keep winning. Whoever we play, we play.

I prefer the option of beating the storm up in Queensland then getting a week's break and facing Parra v knights/bunnies winner in a prelim final. The loser if we play the storm will probably face Raiders then Panthers to make the grand final which would be no easy feat.
No opposition team will be hoping they meet us in the finals before the grand final.

If we come 3rd and loose first week do we play the winner of 6th v 7th? That would mean Newcastle or Souths I think
