I wouldn’t mind if Robbo is playing games with that mob and leave SBW off the list just so it rains on their parade just as long as we have Angus and Keary fully fit. No use the raiders get benefit of our signing.

Sonny needs match fitness before timing. If fit he plays.

The Canberra City Council have placed extra potholes on roads for our arrival. If we lose it won’t be the refs fault. We can blame
        the council.

Hey I want to see him back for sure but don’t want the faders to get the benefit from his comeback and i want to piss them off. Stuart wants to use the crowd to motivate his players to target Sonny. Being that he is still lacking match fitness, I hope it doesn’t back fire. The next few games are easier to get him fit for the finals IMO!

Angry Ricky will have to hear Sonny and the Roosters more than anyone else this week.

Already talking their chances down big time too

Because we would be still down on troops, playing in a freezing stadium, against a hostile crowd, battling against the game officials, opposition fans, the media and the NRL, not to mention a Canberra side who should not be taken lightly and will be hell bent on knocking over those rotters who stole their premiership dreams from them last year.

Having said all that, the comment was made before I saw our line up. The odds are now even or slightly in our favour!
                MRR or Rabid

Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.

Time to shut the whingeing, moaning, unable to face reality snot-coloured jersey wearing Minnesota Vikings promotion stealing dead heads up! Roosters will need to stop Papali and Whighton, but they can win this one well as long as the ref doesn't get 6-Again happy!

Just an update on the "crowd". The only people who can purchase tickets are Canberra Members - this includes there new release of tickets this morning. There is zero allocation for Easts Members or the general public. There are only 3000 people allowed. I don't know of any other ground/club who has this policy - even in the time of Covid.

It's bullshyte!!! Even if it's COVID, IMO the NRL should step in and say 'you MUST make provisions for opposition fans to attend, with priority being given to interstate members as they only get to watch one game a year!!!'

As noted in another thread, I'm attending with a megaphone regardless.

Tell them your name is Larry & that you have long balls because of a medical condition. they will let you in for free plus they will let you blow the horn on the night. You gotta have long balls to blow the horn.

Out of interest, do we drive down on day of the game or are we afforded the same rights the faiders demanded when we played earlier this season. Ricky claimed GF replay and spooked until nrl relented and gave him the plane and accomodation

At least mate, greet em when they arrive at the ground, wherever that is, on public property so no jobsworths can tell you to clear off.

At the GF I was boozing up when suddenly our team walked past to get on the bus, I was surrounded and outnumbered about 100:1 by green slime and boos but the boys loved it and loved the RWB support. I'll never forget Robbos side eye grin and thumbs up, like most of the others, loving it . Get in !

Please don't refer to Canberra as Vikings; that is a seriously nice compliment. Vikings are much nicer, friendlier and prettier people than Ricky and his cohorts . Watch the show if you haven't already - well worth a look.
