  • Canberra crowd!

Will members get access to tickets in Canberra?

IMO this will be a defining game and the Chooks will need all the support they can get.

Faders ground staff are the scum of the world. You can expect them to:
    - Play that stoopid horn and fake clap that nobody does the whole time [clap clap eeeef... doesn't even sound good].
    - Not announce any of our players' names, our tries, our subs, play our club song...etc. Totally unprofessional IMO! Sure you support your team but you're also there for ALL fans.
    - Play that stoopid Mission Impossible song all night.
    - 'Accidentally' forget to stop the clock if we're behind by 2 with 4:30 to go.

They're a bunch of amateurs and only fans can keep 'em honest. IMO we need a biiig crowd to Cheer Sonny on as he enters the field and make these pretenders realise we're the real deal... they're just a bunch of flogs who spoil the ball and get away with lotsa stoopid shyte.

What's the play? We gonna have a decent crowd this week?

Just take a couple of numbers with you & get up the back with Robbo & choof away. You could then tell him the match plan to implement for the game.

Does anyone have any idea on how to get a ticket for this game. I have seen Canberra fans complaining that they can't get access to tickets as they sold out very quickly. Are Easts given an allocation or is there a time when its open to the general public?

nope, only 3000 available for their members only, if a.c.t government open up another 1500 seats, then it will be members first again, and if any leftover, they then go to public sale.

even raiders season ticket holders have to buy their tickets at a discounted rate.

Doesn't every team have to provide a section for away fans -with appropriate covid restrictions? The stadium holds 25000 - how do they arrive at 3000 or 4500? I understand the need for caution etc, but I thought the guide was 25% of capacity.

If not for air traffic control in North Queensland we would win this game by 20. I guess 18 will have to do.

They only offer tickets to opposition supporters if their allowed allotment to their own supporters don’t sell out.

It will be a great test for us against the odds down there.

Hopefully the sweet taste of victory will be even better than usual.

                    Go Easts!

Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.

Pretty much. I'm usually a leftie but all his policies are useless pieces of populist garbage aimed at headlines rather than actually doing anything. Every policy has an agenda-driven human rights angle on it that makes some armchair leftie feel morally superior without any practical reasoning.

Like any government - you get shyte all when you keep voting 'em in without contest!

I more worried about the weather. With hot spring weather in Sydney this week (29 on Thurs), the trip to Canberra will be a shock.

Saturday’s forecaster for Canberra is low of 2, high of 13.
And a likely temp at game time of around 8
                        ..it’ll be interesting to see

Why against the odds? We are premiers. No excuses necessary.

I'm worried about the traffic to Canberra. Has anyone checked the number of potholes?

Chooks will need a 80 minute performance as the vikes are one of only 4 sides that can win the comp - others being Storm/Panthers and Chooks of course
