What an awful round of football. Collective injury crises are taking their toll.

From what I've seen, we'll absolutely rail the Broncos, Knights and Sharks.

The big matches will be Canberra away and Souffs.

Proud of our fighting spirit. Round to be a rooster fan.

My thoughts also. I can feel Robbo building for this game!

The 8 is almost set in stone from here on.

The Tele is forecasting that Sonny 'might' be coming on against the broncos. It would be good that he can get some game because there is no rehearsal for the following weeks game.

would be good if he's ready. it's a gamble but probably one that's worth taking. put sbw in for lussick from last week and hope that jake can play the full 80. sbw could go on for a short spell and get some of the rust out.

Agreed. I'd give him 30 odd mins against the Broncos. Better to have a run beforehand, than cop a baptism of fire against the raiders

the run home is looking better than when this thread was started and we weren't sure about keary. with guys coming back we will probably start as favourites for all of our games except maybe the raiders game. with an understrength team even the broncos game isn't a gimme but at this stage we're looking at a top 4 finish.

If lol@souffs beat Parismatta, we could finish third*
                    * we win all our remaining games and Penwif beat Parismatta.

and probably meet the storm in Brisbane?...May as well get ready for the next finals game because it will be hard beating them here.

The Raiders are just nigglers, so it'll be no baptism of fire. Raiders' gameplan:
                          - Suffocate the opposition by lying on players where possible and having no clear 'end of takle'
                          - Try to strip the ball every tackle in defence and offload every tackle in attack
                          - Milk penalties all around... if it felt a bit high then stay down
                          - Eventually end up with Papalii scoring 3 soft, slow tries down the middle because their opposition's tired after 20 straight piggy-back penalties on their line... no creative plays or anything so the big man eventually just busts through the middle

Sportsbet have Broncos at $11 for Friday.

if sportsbet have em at 10-1 then their real price is 20-1. hard to see the broncs being esp dangerous but you never know - maybe they get a boost from the change of coach.

with milford out we might have an advantage even in the halves.
