I dont rate him Mad_Rooster. Thats only mine & my brothers opinion.

If we have to have Carney he is better in the centres than on the wing. Smith must have been off the planet when he put him out there. The opposition scored every time they bombed his corner as you do against a vertically challenged winger. We are are looking fantastic for 2013 with new signings and a maturing young roster but what about the centres. Surely we can find a centre better than Carney.

He is pretty good at defense in the centres but I agree he useless on the wing.

Well, reports in other threads suggest that (when fit) he may well start at centre this year. But it's worth remembering that his best two games last season were the last two, when he played on the wing. One of his worst all year was one of his few at centre, when he got slaughtered against Manly.

BJ was certainly let down at times last season by his lack of acceleration and dubious reads at times in defence, and in some ways these issues disadvantage him more at centre. Personally I don't think it makes all that much difference. Hopefully his defence out wide improves this year, though his pace limitations may mean that he is eventually bound for the second-row--and perhaps would already be in that rotation if it wasn't undergoing a population explosion at our club.

                      Moga

                      Pearce
                      Maloney

No Braith, Mini retired with his hot fashion designer wife to his palatial home overlooking Donald Mackay's burial place and Pearce in his correct position FINALLY.

                      That's why, brother of Arnold.

I think Henare Wells will work his way into the side during the 2013 season. Either he or RTS will probably take one wing position off Sam Perrett's clone? Both look like sensational fullback prospects though and who knows maybe Peni Tagive will have a breakout year and cement a spot.
