Do you remember when he first arrived to a fanfare of highlights packages from his tryscoring ability at the Raiders? What happened when he got here???????
Moga, Tagive, Henry...dear Lord..please let one of these players be a break-out superstar in 2012. Otherwise have to agree that back-line is looking pretty ordinary.
unless you are the coach you cannot guarantee anything.. He was disgraceful.
THIS.
Smith has already said Moga would have got a chance if he'd been old enough.
He may not be first choice centre - but he is ahead of that beachball that's for sure.
Don't think we will see Carney in the centres..
Don't think we will see BJ and Moga in the same backline yet.
Aubbuson will be backrow on our right side of defence helping SKD up against Taylor and Inglis.
I don't mind that backline PTB, as long as BJ is on the bench as a backrower. For mine he would make a better backrower than Guerra on the left but I can see Smith picking him on the wing next to Moga nullifying any chances created with his lack of speed. Ideally, I'd have Leilua and Cordner fighting it out for the 11 (both better on the left) and Maubs and Guerra for the 12 (better on the right). As long as Aubusson isn't in the centres I'll be reasonably happy. Also hoping that Adam Henry is a lot quicker than BJ too cos if he's not then what's the point.
That's pretty much a certainty barring injuries unfortunately, I think we'll be seeing BJ and Moga teamed on the other side together in the trials which is a massive concern. Tagive and Henry have a few weeks of training and trials left to impress and get a spot in the top 30 - neither has made it yet.
Moga may be something, but start him on the wing until he finds his feet. He has pace. BJ played reasonably well in the centres toward the back end of the year. I would persist with him. He has experience for a young guy, and should hold until there is a standout replacement.
