Robbo will rotate players if we have the luxury of doing so in order to keep players sharp but fresh. Victor will get a rest versus Dragons in 2 weeks and Aubo will get a run.

The way I see it is Sitli is a middle player replacing a prop and Aubo plays on the edge. Don’t think he has surpassed him in the pecking order or has Aubo and Robbie had a falling out. Gus has been one of our best since the restart so he deserves to keep his starting role.

The simple answer is Aubbo was only back in squad training for a week before his father passed away and he then missed the 2 weeks contact training before the season resumed. He will only now have caught up to the others in terms of physical preparation to resume playing. He will probably return next week, if Robbo can find someone he can justifiably drop.

who does he replace though as he wouldn't make the 17 after last week - with JWH out Stilli has come into the provisional 17 - remember though the 17 can be changed right up to 1 hr before kick off- 19 players available so changes could still be made. They need to play well and respect the Dogs who re capable of springing an upset if the Chooks are not focused and possible thinking about next week v Parra

I am torn, I hope on one hand we are not being to disrespect to the dogs by resting JWH and on the other hoping he is not really injured as I didn’t see it reported in the recovery

All g if he sits out this week but we desperately need him for the Parra game next week. If we want to match their pack we need JWH!

5 day turnaround to the Eels game.

This is just Robbo being smarter than the rest once again.

Without his superb player management last year - giving rests where needed - we don't go b2b.

Yep we definitely have to respect them!

Storm and Raiders both coulda gone down tonight and we will get beaten tomorrow if we play as poorly as both of them did.

We've had a couple of wins now but we're only 7th and the best this win can do is make us 6th.

Our PD is second only to the Eels. IMO it's gonna be important this season so we need to win by 16 and put ourselves on top of the Eels in terms of PD.

With the next 5 being Eels, Dragons, Storm, Cowboys and Raiders we have a serious chance to dislodge a heaps of teams sitting above us thanks to their 4 point 'pre-season' head starts. If we they continue to plod along like they did this week (relying on generous calls...etc to grind out wins) while we continue to get better then there's no reason it can't be like 2018-19. No team has a better coach or roster than us.

100%. Robbo does some frustrating things but the only time I've seen him get it wrong was when he carried Toops on the bench (and that was ALMOST the right call - had we won, IMO we woulda beaten the Storm with a full-strength squad whereas the Cows put EVERYTHING into the preliminary final). It's a tough balancing act but I reckon Robbo's gradually made his job easier by cycling players throughout the season and hiring/developing all the right people.

It would have been 6 days but the NRL found another way to stitch us with the postponement. 5 for us and 8 for the Eels. You are spot on about the man management by Robbo and the medical team.

Daily telegraph saying roosters now asking for exemption to play JWH with the postponement? Sorry couldn’t read the article as it was subscription only

sounds a bit random that with an extra day’s rest and now we want to play him

It would surprise me if one more day suddenly makes a difference, but let's see I suppose. Now is the time to rest him IMO.
                        MRR or Rabid

Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.

It could make a difference but im surprised Robbo wouldnt keep a few of the boys fresh for the Parra game JWH included.
