Sorry to offend, but I had to have a laugh at this highlighted part. I do agree tho, Robbo is the King and king maker.

we were lucky that trent was around in 2010 with Smitthy. He helped in some way picking the future roster. trent turned in 2013 up with his eyes firmly fixed on our jnr development and with Paul Green at the helm and later was Adam Hartigan. .Trents on the Planes travelling around scouting talent. So is it Trent or the roster , or is it trents roster that is giving us success. Brian Canavan was in charge and he basically gave Trent free reign to build his team. Getting rid of luggage in the current squad and replacing it with under 20s and then adding even more under 20s to our top 30 players.
Debuted in the red white n blue. Jake, Aubo, Ikavalu, Manu, Boyd, Saltili, 2poo, Collin, Liu , Butcher, Farmersilli, Verrils, Radley, Hucho, Billy Smith. And if you count the guys who retired or could make the grade we lost Pearce, Fatrell, Guerrs, Evans, Mamorovski, Kerilla, takarangi, Perrit Kouparitsas to name a few all came thru this system.

so its Trents roster that wins us games. 9 years at the helm. 3 grand finals and im guessing five minor premierships and 3 wwc.. Never be coach of the year.....

        Finally!

Matty Johns (goose but a brilliant footy brain) kept saying its our SYSTEM more than anything else that sets us apart. The point I make.
Wasn't there some love for the Roosters and Robo last night after the game.... Nick always said he wanted a coach that was going to be there for a long time....you can pretty much say he has found the man!

Its both , Robbo couldn't go to the Tigers and have the same success with the roster they have but on the same hand Michael Mcguire couldn't come to the Roosters and have the same success as Robbo because he would want to stamp his authority on the boys and the and he hasn't got that aura or mentor skills that Robbo has. He has changed the culture of the club and thats what its about . They love to play for him , the club and for the supporters . But there is no doubt who truly is steering the ship . We are blessed to be watching and supporting in a golden era because like some on here there has been long periods of crap .

Us fans know its Robbo and the coaching and development systems we have in place. Thats the big point of difference and gets way too little exposure.

Credit to support coaches too like Fitzy, JT and Kingy who all contribute to the success.

But its Robbo the genius who orchestrates it all and has created a culture of winning and excellence in all we do as a club.

They just never hit that point hard enough. Dont know why.
A team effort is needed by the players as well as coaching staff ...I dont know much anymore with the going on of the club to comment buts its a farken happy premiership place thats for sure

Ha just grabbed some delicious swindler from my local bottle o and overheard the shopkeep talking to a customer about the bulldogs. (Both fans of)

They were actually giving robbo a good rap even before I identified myself as rooster.

Ive been saying it for years the job is Robbos until he decides he no longer wants it. He will be there for at least 15 years probably 20.

100% agree, strong systems and strong leadership from the front office to the chairman to the football department.

Speaking of, our Lord & Saviour Trent Robinson was on Rooster's Radio last night for an extensive interview.

On a special extended episode of Roosters Radio, the team sit down and chat with Head Coach Trent Robinson.

Tommy how lucky are the Chooks to have Robbo.
In the 53 years Ive been alive & going for the Chooks the club has never had so much spirit & passion for the Easts jumper. Robbo has come in there & turned the sleeping giants into a proper run Rugby League team. Im just so glad that he has come along in my life time, I just wish my dad could have been around for this golden era. The Roosters did the 3peat in the 30's & if anyone can make that happen again its Trent Robinson.
Ive been to watch them train a few times Tommy & Ive approached Robbo & he is the easiest man to talk to. Im a complete stranger to him & he spoke to me like a friend.

                              Robbo is so generous.

He gave his premiership rings to Tetavano and Collins.

                              Loaned out Faumasilli to Worriers.

He's happy when our players get picked for Origin even though they could get injured.

He wants to grow RL generally and not just Easts so he has pressers, signings, exposure to media and fans for both players and himself. Many other coaches would not be so generous.

He'd make a fantastic NRL CEO and they can have him after he wins 2 more premierships with us.
