Quite simple really. The two Friday night games were designed to allow live football in each of NSW and Qld. With only 3 teams in Qld, Brisbane is likely to have a high %. That combined with the fact the Titans were rubbish last year.

knoughts and dragqueens also get three each (if you include the opening game of Round 1 on Thursday).

Fox would have demanded a blockbuster match for the first Monday night game of 2012. They aren't concerned about the crowds, only TV figures

We know this from the time that the game is scheduled. Sunday 3pm games are usually the Ch9 games.

The fact both teams failed to make the 8 probably spells out why it isn't Friday night.
