A rivalry that goes back to day dot and is relegated to a Monday night. That is a joke

Manly are no better off with two Monday games out of the five

We should be at a minimum 4 wins from 5 after 5 rounds. An easy start to the season. Get in roosters get in

Same with Parra. Feel for their fans a bit I do.

It's global warming mate, don't worry about it though we have this massive tax that is going to fix it.

ANZ Stdium on a Monday night - no thank you

happy we only have one channel 9 Sunday afternoon game, can't stand the delayed telecast

good for interstate supporters that we will get to see the NYC boys twice in the first 5 rounds

sunday afternoon heat could certainly be a problem for us given the size of our forward pack with the likes of Kennedy/Masoe/Tasi/JWH

Crazy stuff, we got about 29000 to the opening game last year on the Friday night at the SFS..

Monday night at Homebush could see only about 10000 people there..

I will be watching on TV at home, Souths will not be counting my head..

I'm with you PTB - I will be watching it at home as well with a nice bevie or 3. I refuse to give the Vermin Filth (or the ScumDogs) any of my hard earned.

And the advantage is that Monday Night Footy is the best game as far as TV coverage is concerned, espec with the review and coach's pressers after the match.

As for the Sunday arvo heat, if after a preseason of those conditions our blokes aren't up for it, then there's something wrong with the way we are conducting our preseason. I don't consider the heat an excuse, espec when they get 7 days between games.

I remember Smithy used the heat as excuse when we got pumped by 60points against the Dogs a few yrs back...

                            heat isnt an excuse
