I'm old school , obviously being born in 1908 , thanks Jack , but I would love them to fix the scrums and keep them , I know it won't happen but it would be good if it did

Can they seriously just leave the rules alone for once? I dunno who it will advantage/disadvantage. However, it's stupid and unnecessary.

Right now the only priority should be getting rid of that stupid, unintentional change to the stripping rule that's allowed what are ostensibly yawnion-style gang strips to slow down the ruck.

Lemme guess - they won't award 6 again when a team slows down the ruck by putting a hand on the ball so they can attempt a strip after the completion of the tackle? Just saying. I suspect it's more likely that after a move like this they're gonna say '6 AGAIN ROOSTERS!!!' just as we're being tackled, with us being like 'huuuh... so we actually only get 5 again and no kick? Well done Uncle Pete! Really made use as your 3 month stint as interim CEO...'

Good 1 nrl now the player with the ball will be trying to slow the ruck down for a piggy back. Cam smith won't exploit this 1

I'd like to discourage running from dummy half. Make it like the touch rule if a dummy half gets caught in possession, it's a turnover. Would encourage more ball movement.

The chooks could go back to 1 marker.

Wayne Apollo's idea, Dr V said.

Whenever Roosters win a premiership they seem to changes the rules.
After 2013 it was the "Toops jumping for the ball" rule change, also 7 tackles for kicking the ball dead.

              Not sure about 2018.
Now after 2019, this rule change.

So, when a player does what Munster did in the 2018 GF, pushed our player down again to slow our play and kill our attacking momentum, ...and was penalised and sin binned, we kicking the goal for 2 points...there won't now be a penalty, won't be a sin bin, and won't be a kick at goal?

the NRL always change the rules and the roosters always wins comps.
                coincidence or conspiracy?

I don't see how this is a benefit to the attacking team. You're down by 2 with 3 mins to go attacking the opposition line, they can just keep restarting the tackle count by slowing down the play the ball. Doesn't make any sense

Fatigue. The defensive line will crack eventually. Play will resume quicker after the infringement as opposed to a penalty that takes more time.

If scrums were fixed I’d support them too but all they are is an embarrassment to the game.

Don't see that you're going to get terribly fatigued if there's only 3 mins to go and you're able to slow each play the ball down so you can get your line set

this rule will effect our game. we are renowned for giving a penalty away when the opposition is deep in our half. this is so we can reset our bondi wall and all of our defenders are in their right positions

If you infringe repeatedly someone will be sin binned. So playing will 12 men everyone will be working harder so yes fatigue will be a factor.
