  • Refund for Season Tickets

At this stage we don't know how many if any games we will be able to attend.

Will you seek a refund for the cost of your season ticket or will you choose to support the club in this tough time?

No refund. The club needs all the support it can get.

      Same as Johnny.

Being a member is more than just attending games.

The club has been through a lot in the last 112yrs but there's no denying financially this period of time is going to be extremely tough on all clubs and they need our support more than ever.

Maybe it depends on your personal financial status. Lots of people won’t be earning an income at the moment. They may have no choice but to seek a refund.

Agreed. TBH with small kids I wasn't expecting to be able to use my 'season ticket' all that much anyway. I get the ticketed membership so that I get first dibs at finals tickets. Even that's a risk because right now we're not even in the top 8 (and I have no expectation that we MUST make the finals... I've paid for a lot of years where we haven't).

Supporting the club is supporting the club. I'm a member and I don't wish to rescind my membership or the level of financial support I've provided for the club. What I provide is a drop in the ocean for them (however, a considerable amount outta our family's budget). It's been paid and I don't think we can expect anything back if something outta the Roosters' control cancels some of the perks.

FWIW I'm now paying for Kayo as well ($25 a month to watch 1 single sport outta many). Go figure!

Agree Thirteen. No matter what one chooses , you can't judge them. It costs me a fortune to be a member, travelling from the Blue Mountains for each home game. Petrol,Parking, Tolls, Food etc for the 4 of us. I am not struggling as both my wife and I earn a decent living....but I am not exactly flying either. Unsure what I would like to do or what i think is fair , from our perspective. I haven't given it much thought to be honest but definitely dont expect cash back. Possibly just some credit to next year Membership, just a small percentage even.

Hey mate, did you get the email from the club for 2 months Kayo for $5 or Premium for $7 ? I wont use mine as I stream NRL for free through Telstra, plus have foxtel, but happy to forward on my code/email if someone wants it

Won’t seek a refund as my membership money is already spent

Same here - not asking for a refund.
Certainly not an ideal situation and understand that everyone has their own circumstances to deal with here.
                  Go the Mighty Roosters!!

Hahaha yeah I just saw it and was coming in here to update my post. My e-mail says:

'Ticketed Members will be able to access Kayo Basic for $5 for 2 months, ensuring you can watch NRL anytime, anywhere in Australia. To take advantage of this offer, you will need to utilise a unique, single-use code which can be activated for new, returning and existing customers.'

I'll use it so this is a pretty good deal.

I think it’s strange how the club and no doubt the other clubs are yet to address this.

And I’m surprised some fans aren’t kicking up a stink.

We’ve maintained our season tickets for the last 4 years despite living in America so I have no issue with not getting a refund :P

I wouldn't ask for a refund personally but if someone is really battling to pay bills, food etc. no judgment here.
