There was nothing glorious about latrells game at fullback 4 runs for 50mtrs 1 tackle bust in 55 minutes. Why would you pay that much money for a work in progress experiment. This will be a good test of Wayne's patients in his old age.
I wonder will he be happy to rest latrell after 60 minutes when there down by 12 points. That wouldn't be a good look having your highest paid player benched because he's a work in progress. I'd shift him back to centre for a breather.
Well I’m thinking that Latrell will not be featuring in the top scorers list this year?
But in some ways he is playing as much for them as what he was playing for us the only difference is that he’s doing his bit in 1 half and then gets hooked and for us did just as much work, in 80 mins and scored a zillion points. In 3 matches he’s played this year he has scored zero! I wonder if Latrell is going to knee cap Reynolds just so he gets a chance to kick for goals and score something this year. Already those vermin fans are questioning why is a $700k player on the bench.
I hate latrell for leaving, but I think you gotta give him some time yet, can't decide after 1 round. hell if everything is decided after round 1 , last 3 years have been a huge failure for our club.
I don't think anyone expected to see him hit the ground running. He has played indigenous all stars and charity shield before round 1, so I was expecting more then 55 minutes. With his workload in that 55 minutes it will take all season for him to get up to pace.
nah, **** him. He was very average doesn't matter if it was the first game. He is the new Inglis and as far as being lazy and a crap fullback I think he is well on track
The Internet is a place for posting silly things
Try and be serious and you will look stupid

Exactly - the only way to get the bloke fully fit is to make him uncomfortable during games and make him play through the 'but I'm tired' phase. The softly, softly approach will not get the bloke fit, just make him complacent. But hey, the old coot knows best, I suppose.
Supporting the RW&B, through good times and bad times.
He'll be back at centre by May if the season is still around by then.
I think he touched the ball about 3 times in the first half. Must be a record level of non-involvement for a fullback. He doesn’t want to be there. He knew he had to pretend to want to be a fullback to get the big dollars.
