I agree at the moment he looks lost, but GEEZ WE are talking about fullback at NRL level. And by the way, i am sorry to say that Luke looked lost without Cooper. Teddy had a bad game. But hey it's only game one of the season. we usually start slow. Better to be fast finishers.

Have you seen Latrell playing for NSW or Australia, without Keary next to him? Or even when Keary was missing last year?

Love this thread. Hes our gift to souffs just like Justin Hodges was from the Drongos to us.

I will show him respect for his time here and thank him for the very special moments he occasionally came up with but in a snot colored jersey hes just another vermin piece of trash. If he wakes up, swallows some pride and comes back one day, just not at fullback, he will need to earn a place back in our hearts.

I couldn't care less about the past & if the Roosters re-signed him I would be doing cart wheels.

Didn’t Souffs get the equivalent of a medical retirement for Inglis leaving them with $1 million in their salary cap???

From memory yes they did G.I. was subsequently exempt from the cap to the tune of $1million it’s a loophole they exploited and any club could do the same thing tomorrow if they liked, case in point with Sam Burgess also the Broncos and Tigers exploited that very same loophole with Matt Gillet and and Ben Matulino, funny thing is G.I. may very well have been medically cleared to return if he wished, we just don’t know for sure all this nonsense about him having enough was rubbish, he was tapped and told to retire so Souffs could secure another marquee player from a different club Souffs should have been punished for the stupid contracts they signed long term to an ailing G.I. and Bargeass they well and truly were gifted golden tickets to secure Arrow and possibly Mitchell, who was coaxed well and truly before the finals last season Souffs dealings man FUGGEN Scumbags my god I despise that club.

                          "Glory Glory...……."

                          The real one.
The one that was sung in St Paul's Cathedral London at the memorial service for the victims of 9/11. Solidarity with America.

The Battle Hymn of the Republic.

                          "Glory, Glory, Hallelujah...……"

On April 3, 1968, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. rose to speak in support of striking sanitation workers in Memphis, Tennessee. "I want you to know tonight, that we, as a people, will get to the Promised Land," King announced. "And I'm happy, tonight. I'm not worried about anything. I'm not fearing any man." And then he closed in his lyrical voice: "Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord." The next day he lay dying on the second floor of the Lorraine Motel, struck in the cheek by an assassin's bullet.

The last line that King ever spoke in public came from a song, "The Battle Hymn of the Republic," written by Julia Ward Howe in 1861. It was a fitting finale to the life of a great American because the story of the "Battle Hymn" is the story of the United States. The song, now approaching its 150th anniversary, is a hallowed treasure and a second national anthem. We have turned to it repeatedly in national crises. The "Battle Hymn" has inspired suffragists and labor organizers, civil rights leaders and novelists—like John Steinbeck in The Grapes of Wrath.

Gee I wish they didn't have "Glory Glory....." as their song.
When it starts playing at the footy I start singing along with it...different lyrics of course.
Not a good look really, Roosters supporter singing "Glory, Glory.....".
                            So I stop myself.

Totally agree. What an absolute mockery they've made of the NRL.

Seems I was wrong on this as he was never medically retired.
