I think his body shape is just too big for the miles needed at the back. Even if he trimmed down as much as he could, he will be walking a fine line needing some weight/power.

He will get his wish retiring early on those knees. I will be watching closely but I'll be honest, I can't stand watching some teams and souffs head up that list.

Yeah I won't be watching Souffs unless we're playing against them or somebody tips me off about them getting smashed by a mediocre team by 1/2 time.

One of the most powerful kick return runners of all time was a big bloke . The Wombat Graeme Eadie went alright . Different era of course but you get the drift .. Having said that I qualify that I wish Latrell no great success in that position, but only playing centre for NSW and Australia . Teddy will do me as the Number 1 thanks

Has latrell cost himself 100k in origin money by playing fullback too, he obviously won’t be the blues #1, and the way turbo and wighton played in the centers last year, means Freddy will be pretty set in his backline.

Yea different time, smaller stature players (although solid) like mini, slater, teddy are the go. Turbo is tall i guess but looks lighter than latrell, papenhauzen, rts and even cnk would be under latrells dimensions. Youth is on his side if anything.

I thought I heard somewhere that Freddy came out and said he won’t be picking him for Origin this year off the back of last years success with those choices.

In saying that, I thought he was pretty hard done by after game one where he was very much starved of opportunity thanks to his mate Cody Walker. Either way, Freddy did what you expect the coach to do. Made changes that paid off handsomely.
