Beating 3 or 4 defenders on a regular basis is not finishing of what others started .....
I agree he is not the smartest and there are legitimate reasons for letting him go or withdrawing his offer.
The roosters are a lesser side without him in the team , how anyone can deny that is behond me.
Plus I think latrell will be back in the 3 and wil stay there if or when when he season kicks off again.
people need to remember he is only 22 and has achieved so much and he probably hasn't handled the success that well.
He hasn't done anything bad besides make some dumb decisions, I don't get all the hate. I'd love to see a grown up mature latrell walk back in the door at the roosters

Yes he did freakish things, he scored some mind boggling tries Melbourne round 3or4 (can’t remember exactly) 2019 stands out for me, too often he’s mind was elsewhere too often he didn’t contribute with the tough runs out of our end, when someone works out how to turn the on button in Lats mind and keep it on, no doubt he is up there with the best that’s the key with him.

Negotiating contracts in the finals series with our arch rival that is damn close to unforgivable wanting to be ‘the main man’ ‘the go to guy’ surrounding himself with idiots like Mundane, knocking back a great deal with the best in the business he tried to low ball the chooks he realised this came back but the money was gone that’s what irritates me South Sydney man cmon any other club we probably don’t even have this discussion my point is the way he went about it is what really wound me up.

I don’t wish injury or ill will toward him, I do not wish him success at South Sydney. Would I be open to him coming back I don’t know he would have to change his whole mindset, that’s just a start.

I for one am happy to not spend any more time and energy on speculation around LM coming back, as I really think the odds are so small that it is a moot point. I agree with Thirteen earlier. I would be forgiving to him, but just cannot see it at all in reality. Everyone has moved on and so will our great club.

Latrell is undoubtedly a genius. I believe more talented than GI.

But the real tragedy of Latrell leaving isn't just that we miss his talents. That's only half the story. The real tragedy is that he misses the Roosters and Robbo more.

We needed him (but will do just fine long term without him). But he undoubtedly needed us and Robbo even more.

It may likely prove in time that Robbo was the only coach capable of bringing the best out of Latrell.

And what a tragedy that a bunch of selfish leaches around Latrell convinced him to potentially trash his career just because they loved Souffs and wanted to make a few bucks.

I agree with with this post wholeheartedly as for forgiving like I said much needs to change about LM before I could forgive the kid. All he had to was talk to the Roosters they had his best interest at heart unlike the people around him tragic really is.

I only switched that particular game on for 30 seconds as that was a Sunday night game and I normally get up at 4.30am and all I saw was Latrell throwing a tantrum. That was enough for me and the next day at work, the Roosters fans I work with all said they were willing to drive him to either Belmore or Redfern..his choice..

Why all of the hand wringing about the loss of Latrell? It is certainly less than ideal that he is no longer in the line up but the most egregious loss by far is Cronk. There may be some adequate Centre options eventually available (certainly not Josh Morris who is solid but minus an X factor and probably not William Smith - the League if full of big, quick Centres who can't consistently break the line unassisted) but Cronk was one in generation and don't we look ordinary without him? Who ever heard of playing a guy with a limp arm in a Grand Final...and against Melbourne FFS. Absolute legend and irreplaceable.
