Perhaps going to stuff sydney was the plan all along, checking his value on the open market being a smokescreen for the move. His position at the chooks is now untenable.

Cheers for the memories big fella, and helping us go back to back. I just can't see a future for him here anymore.

Very sad how this fiasco has unfolded. I just wish it was made clear that he wanted to go the rabble all along. Would have saved so much heartache.
        MRR or Rabid

Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.

Latrell, the Roosters helped you out massively behind the scenes with a lot of issues this year. Then you and your manager(s) tried to play our chairman for a fool, to squeeze out more money.

Since you were told that you were no longer wanted, the club has upgraded players, meaning we don't have the cap money from 2021.

But Latts ! , you may be able to save the day, and that is by profusely apologising to Nick, Trent, everyone at the club.

The Salary Cap is a moving feast and can be managed. Just apologise and maybe you will be able to remain and become a Roosters legend.
I’m sure Latrell reads all the threads here on the Chookpen so I’m sure you will get a reply.

Yes. Well. Did anyone else happen to watch Channel 10 news and the interview with our Coach last night?
Robbo stated that Latrell is a good man and that he’s done nothing wrong. He also said that their relationship was good and that he was frustrated by the attack on Latrell by certain loyal fans off the club. Gee! Wonder who that could be?
Anyway, he finished off by saying that Latrell was a good man, a good character and a great player and that he had a decision to make over the next couple of weeks.
Make of that what you will!

Clearly Robbo doesn't know what he's taking about and should be sacked.

Actions speak louder than words. Robbo gives the diplomatic responses to those questions but the action of withdrawing the offer says it all. The relationship is obviously broken.

It's a complex situation but it has to be at least possible that Robbo meant what he said.

But I think this quote is unambiguous, I don't think he was being merely diplomatic when he said this:

“… The thing that’s frustrated me has been the personal attacks on Latrell from people who are loyal to the Roosters … ”

Agreed Zac, he would have meant that part for sure.

I don't understand why some think that Robbo shouldn't be taken literally ?, if his relationship with Latrell was over he would not have met with him (and vice versa), nor would he have agreed to the interview with the quotes that were attributed to him. He was also on TV confirming the interview.

Sounds to me that if Souufs don't get him more money, that he'll be in the RWB next year, and HOORAY for that i say !!

I wonder who he is referring to?

Hey Latrell if you are reading this, I have a casual position available in my warehouse. We are based in Botany and you will clear $35/hour but you must provide us with your tax file number. Work involves some heavy lifting and hours will vary from week to week. I think a real job may do you some good. PM me if interested.

Robbo, being a avid reader of the Chookpen, would obviously be referring to Tobinski
                                ..it’ll be interesting to see
