Do you honestly think that if he is not off loaded that he will be training & playing for North Sydney?
He has a contract with the Roosters for next year & if he is at the club next year & fit he will be playing FG.
The club wants to win with the best players & Latrell is one of them.
The Roosters wouldnt want the media attention playing Latrell at Norths. If he decides to sit the season out then thats his choice & the media circus will continue but it wont be because of Easts.

I have had my say on this in another thread. Latrell is contracted to us in 2020, if he is still with us then he WILL play first grade. Where are people getting this information about him playing for Norths?
I have not heard it from the club. The only thing the club has stated is that he is a good man and he is contracted to the Roosters in 2020.
He is one of the best centres in the game, why would we play him at Norths. Which players are coming out and saying they are off him? I have only heard our players supporting him.

Other journos have rehashed this BS. The club has said nothing and I doubt our powerbrokers would have called Hooper of all people to give him the scoop.

I've got my information, like the Souths info about the Cadaver, from people I know within the organisations. After Danny Weidler's coverup of Mitch Ross' special armbands, I ignore the sports media completely. They either don't know, like Weidler or are biased like Rothfield.

I also have trouble believing that he would play for Norths, for any length of time anyway. The fact that the club hasn't commented too much leaves it open to a degree of flexibility on what best to do, depending on the circumstances faced at the time. I thought that 6 January was the crunch day for Latrell to return to training. Now that Souths has the Burgess money available, it will be interesting to see if they go for him (once we learn about Arrow's future), as per the speculation, or if the Titans or Tigers come back into stronger contention. At the moment, it looks like Arrow to the rabble, and possibly Latrell to them, the Tigers or remaining with us. I cannot see him going to the Titans quite frankly.
