  • It's just a couple of free rounds of golf isnt it?

Merely a distraction from his passion for first class rugby league and his burgeoning media career.

he will be one of the NRL fatcats playing golf 5 times a week with Gus Fatty Bolts Ray Warren etc

    • No i don't have matching anything.

I use to wear my roosters polo, but i don't even wear that anymore because i don't want to look like too much of a desperate carrnt.

Anyway, it's a nice Bridgestone bag why wouldn't i use the farrken thing?

              • Braith finished with a 7 over par 77 in the first round of the NSW PGA today. He was 5 over for his first 9 holes (he teed off on the 10th) and two over for his second 9 holes. He didn't have any birdies, had 13 pars, 4 bogeys and one triple bogey at the par 3 14th hole.

Some of you guys will bag him because he has been hyped up as a future professional but in my opinion that was a very tidy effort and he certainly can hold his head up high. His first time playing in tournament conditions and paired with Craig Parry he must have been very nervous. Well done Braith and hopefully he can go a little lower in the next round (which I believe will be attempted to be played at some point this afternoon).

                • Braith Ended the day with a score of 78, he was 8 over par through 18. Currently sitting in equal 83rd. Cannot see him making the cut

Was a 78 mate, 6 over for his first 9 with a triple and 2 over coming in. Not a bad score really, especially with a triple boge. On a bloody par 3 too.

                    • Sorry correction - he bogeyed his last hole to go to 8 over.

Mario - we have two similar threads here, can we merge them or something?

                      • Ended up pretty decent in the end.

Wonder how he would have gone if he started on the front 9?

He was never going to make the cut but he can certainly hold his head up high.

                          • Well he came last... looks like Braith is better an an NRL player. Also, he said he has never wanted to turn pro.

Oh well... A bit of fun.

Was he that terrible? I mean I would come last in a golf tournament but how bad was he?

                              • He did okay. He's not a full time golfer, let alone an experienced professional, so I thought he did okay.
