  • Channel 9: Braith may go to Golf

    On tomorrow night

Dont know what exactly will be said but its Really poor from our supposed captain in general.

Focus on footy you twerp. if ever the team/club needed the captain to standup and lead it would be now after Todd leaving

He would have to be one of the luckiest guys to play the game considering the high salaries he has always been given compared to his performances

I'm aware he will entertain golf after league and if he is still good enough at golf, the fact that he played nrl will attract a new focus on golf in oz. the money they would pay to go to golf would be a small investment compared to the new exposure golf oz would get!

Anasta is a very selfish player.

He throws tantrums if he doesn't get his way.

He likes to have a big cry.

He wastes a big part of our cap and has rarely produced to warrant his hefty pay packet.

He spends too much time on the golf course.

The decision to make him club captain over fitzy back a few years ago was a disgrace.

We will struggle again next year with this dud taking centre stage for us.

The joke is on our club.

What's worse is that we bought another dud in mortimer.

      It's no longer lol@souths.

The story looked to just be about his ability as a golfer and possible future career in the sport, not that he wants to suddenly leave NRL immediately.

I think it's a joke to think that playing golf in his spare time and not going out binge drinking or any other range of other things he could be doing is affecting his dedication to the club.

I'm not surprised by your typical response Fred..

Anasta has been playing plenty of golf on his break as always, nothing new. Preseason hasn't started yet, I wouldn't read into it too much!

He spends all his time plating golf.

He does that during the season as well.

Anyone who is a member of his course will tell you that.

If he spent some time practising his kick offs then he may not kick them out on the full a dozen times a year.

But no, getting a scratch handicap during the year is more important to him

Brilliant post mate. Some here will never be happy. Ability or not, this bloke is not out on the piss throwing the club into chaos. In his spare time he is out in the fresh air relaxing. Problems with that...? Wake up!

True, he's not out on the piss throwing the club into chaos.

He just throws the club into chaos on the field.

                      I agree with Fred.

Overrated salary-cap sponge that cost us our best player.

He can put those golf clubs where the sun doesn't shine.

I wonder if he'll hit the golf ball out of bounds like he does with his footy kickoffs.

I wonder when he'll toss rye golf ball at his caddie whether it'll hit his caddies toes or be tossed to the ground behind his caddies back just like he does on the footy field

But he's a nice guy who will sign autographs after the 18th hole and talk to the kids at the driving range.

If you are refering to that immature little pisshead of a beer can Carney, you need you head read as to the 'best player' award.

Instead of practising his sprint training like a lot of the elite marquee players, he's out walking around in the fresh air with a golf stick.

I wonder if he's ever done any sprint training practise the last 5 years.

I bet he's done a lot of putting practising though
